Abstract
A toe protection system for protecting toes stubbed against furniture includes an article of furniture that has a plurality of legs. A plurality of boots is provided and each of the boots is positionable around an associated one of the legs on the furniture. Each of the boots is comprised of a resiliently compressible material to absorb impact energy from stubbing toes thereby inhibiting the toes from being injured.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A toe protection system being configured to inhibit stubbing toes against legs of furniture, said system comprising:
an article of furniture having a plurality of legs; and a plurality of boots, each of said boots being positionable around an associated one of said legs on said furniture, each of said boots being comprised of a resiliently compressible material wherein each of said boots is configured to absorb impact energy from stubbing toes thereby inhibiting the toes from being injured, each of said boots having a top end, a bottom end and an outer wall extending therebetween, an outwardly facing surface of said outer wall being smoothly arcuate extending between said top end and said bottom end wherein said outwardly facing surface of said outer wall is configured to inhibit collection of dust on said boot and to facilitate cleaning said outwardly facing surface of said outer wall.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising each of said top end and said bottom end corresponding to each of said boots being open, each of said boots being hollow.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said outer wall corresponding to each of said boots curves outwardly between said top end and said bottom end of said corresponding boot such that said each of said boots has a bell shaped cross section taken along a line extending through said top end and said bottom end.
4 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said outer wall corresponding to each of said boots has a cut extending therethrough, said cut on each of said boots extending between said top end and said bottom end, said cut on each of said boots being spread apart thereby facilitating each of said boots to be positioned around said associated leg.
5 . A toe protection system being configured to inhibit stubbing toes against legs of furniture, said system comprising:
an article of furniture having a plurality of legs; and a plurality of boots, each of said boots being positionable around an associated one of said legs on said furniture, each of said boots being comprised of a resiliently compressible material wherein each of said boots is configured to absorb impact energy from stubbing toes thereby inhibiting the toes from being injured, each of said boots having a top end, a bottom end and an outer wall extending therebetween, each of said top end and said bottom end corresponding to each of said boots being open, each of said boots being hollow, said outer wall corresponding to each of said boots curving outwardly between said top end and said bottom end of said corresponding boot, an outwardly facing surface of said outer wall being smoothly arcuate extending between said top end and said bottom end such that each of said boots has a bell shaped cross section taken along a line extending through said top end and said bottom end and said outer surface of said outer wall is configured to inhibit collection of dust on said boot and facilitating cleaning said outer surface of said outer wall, said outer wall corresponding to each of said boots having a cut extending therethrough, said cut corresponding to each of said boots extending between said top end and said bottom end, said cut on each of said boots being spread apart thereby facilitating each of said boots to be positioned around said associated leg.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
