Handheld device accessory

Abstract

A system includes a device case having a front portion and a back portion, the front portion sized to securely receive and house a portable handheld device, and one or more rotatably attached handles affixed to the back portion of the device case, each of the one or more rotatably attached handles capable of rotating 1 to 180 degrees along a plane horizontal to a plane of the back portion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus comprising:
 a device plate having a front portion and a back portion, the front portion coupled to an adhesive material for affixing the device plate to a portable handheld device; and   a handle rotatably attached to the back portion, the handle capable of rotating along a plane of the back portion.   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1  wherein the adhesive material is two-sided tape. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1  wherein the handle at least partially overlays the back portion. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising a fastening mechanism disposed on the device plate to secure the handle in a selectable position. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 1  wherein the portable handheld device is selected from the group consisting of a phone, a computer tablet, a camera, a camcorder, and a radio.
