Abstract

An exemplary method includes defining a group of users associated with a plurality of access devices, providing a graphical user interface to a first access device and a second access device of the plurality of access devices, receiving, from the first access device, data representative of a first content item, the data having a first data format, mapping the first content item to the group of users, encoding the data representative of the first content item into a second data format different than the first data format, identifying that the second access device is associated with the group of users, distributing, to the second access device, the encoded data representative of the first content item in the second data format, and displaying an interactive graphical object representative of the first content item in the graphical user interface of the second access device.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified

 defining a group of users associated with a plurality of access devices, the users being authorized to use a content hub subsystem; providing a graphical user interface to a first access device and a second access device of the plurality of access devices, the graphical user interface configured to communicate with the content hub subsystem over a communications network and provide an interactive display of content items; receiving, by the content hub subsystem from the first access device, data representative of a first content item, the data having a first data format; mapping, by the content hub subsystem, the first content item to the group of users; encoding, by the content hub subsystem, the data representative of the first content item into a second data format different than the first data format; identifying, by the content hub subsystem, that the second access device is associated with the group of users; distributing, by the content hub subsystem to the second access device, the encoded data representative of the first content item in the second data format; displaying an interactive graphical object representative of the first content item in the graphical user interface of the second access device.

         2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving, by the content hub subsystem from the first access device, a geo-tag indicating a geographic location associated with the first content item.

         3 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising sorting the interactive graphical object in the graphical user interface of the second access device based on the geo-tag indicating the geographic location associated with the first content item.

         4 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the geographic location associated with the first content item comprises a location at which the first content item was created or from which the first content item was transmitted by the first access device to the content hub subsystem.

         5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first content item comprises a photograph.

         6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the interactive graphical object comprises a copy of at least a portion of the photograph.

         7 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising providing a tool in the graphical user interface of the second access device, the tool configured to facilitate user interaction with the interactive graphical object to add a tag to the photograph.

         8 . A system comprising:
 at least one physical computing device configured to:
 define a group of users associated with a plurality of access devices, the users being authorized to use a content hub subsystem;
 provide a graphical user interface to a first access device and a second access device of the plurality of access devices, the graphical user interface configured to communicate with the content hub subsystem over a communications network and provide an interactive display of content items;
 receive, from the first access device, data representative of a first content item, the data having a first data format;
 map the first content item to the group of users;
 encode the data representative of the first content item into a second data format different than the first data format;
 identify that the second access device is associated with the group of users;
 distribute, to the second access device, the encoded data representative of the first content item in the second data format;
 display an interactive graphical object representative of the first content item in the graphical user interface of the second access device.

         9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one physical computing device is further configured to receive, from the first access device, a geo-tag indicating a geographic location associated with the first content item.

         10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one physical computing device is further configured to sort the interactive graphical object in the graphical user interface of the second access device based on the geo-tag indicating the geographic location associated with the first content item.

         11 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the geographic location associated with the first content item comprises a location at which the first content item was created or from which the first content item was transmitted by the first access device to the content hub subsystem.

         12 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the first content item comprises a photograph.

         13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the interactive graphical object comprises a copy of at least a portion of the photograph.

         14 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the at least one physical computing device is further configured to provide a tool in the graphical user interface of the second access device, the tool configured to facilitate user interaction with the interactive graphical object to add a tag to the photograph.

         15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions executable by a processor of a computing device to:
 define a group of users associated with a plurality of access devices, the users being authorized to use a content hub subsystem; provide a graphical user interface to a first access device and a second access device of the plurality of access devices, the graphical user interface configured to communicate with the content hub subsystem over a communications network and provide an interactive display of content items; receive, from the first access device, data representative of a first content item, the data having a first data format; map the first content item to the group of users; encode the data representative of the first content item into a second data format different than the first data format; identify that the second access device is associated with the group of users; distribute, to the second access device, the encoded data representative of the first content item in the second data format; display an interactive graphical object representative of the first content item in the graphical user interface of the second access device.

         16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions are further executable by the processor to receive, from the first access device, a geo-tag indicating a geographic location associated with the first content item.

         17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the instructions are further executable by the processor to sort the interactive graphical object in the graphical user interface of the second access device based on the geo-tag indicating the geographic location associated with the first content item.

         18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the geographic location associated with the first content item comprises a location at which the first content item was created or from which the first content item was transmitted by the first access device to the content hub subsystem.
