Abstract
An object information acquiring apparatus comprises a light irradiation unit configured to irradiate lights having different wavelengths respectively; an acoustic wave receiving unit configured to receive an acoustic wave by each of the lights having different wavelengths respectively, and convert into an electric signal that corresponds to each of the lights having different wavelengths; a characteristic information acquiring unit configured to acquire characteristic distribution related to each position in the object based on the electric signal; a statistics acquiring unit configured to acquire a histogram from the characteristic distribution; and an image information acquiring unit configured to acquire image information causing a display device to display the characteristic distribution in the object and the histogram.

12 . A data processing apparatus comprising:
an image data acquiring unit configured to acquire a first image data that expresses a spatial distribution of a content or a content rate of a substance which constitutes an object, and a second image data that expresses a spatial distribution of information on the object different from the content or the content rate; a display control unit configured to cause a display unit to display an image based on the second image data; a region-of-interest setting unit configured to set a region of interest based on information on the region of interest specified by an operator in a case where the image based on the second image data is displayed on the display unit; and a statistical information acquiring unit configured to acquire statistical information of the first image data corresponding to the region of interest based on the first image data, wherein the display control unit causes the display unit to display an image based on the statistical information.
13 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the region of interest includes a first region of interest and a second region of interest which are different from each other,
wherein the region-of-interest setting unit:
sets automatically a region corresponding to the entire region of the first image data as the first region of interest in the first image data, and
sets a region corresponding to a part of the second image data specified by the operator in a case where the image based on the second image data is displayed on the display unit as the second region of interest in the first image data,
wherein the statistical information acquiring unit acquires first statistical information of the first image data corresponding to the first region of interest and second statistical information of the first image data corresponding to the second region of interest as the statistical information, and wherein the display control unit causes the display unit to display an image including the first statistical information and the second statistical information.
14 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the statistical information acquiring unit generates a first histogram of the first image data corresponding to the first region of interest and a second histogram of the first image data corresponding to the second region of interest, and
wherein the display control unit causes the display unit to display the first histogram by corresponding a color of an image indicating the first region of interest to a color of an image indicating the first histogram and the second histogram by corresponding a color of an image indicating the second region of interest to a color of an image indicating the second histogram.
15 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the display control unit causes the display unit to display the second image data, the region of interest superposed on the second image data and an image including the statistical information.
16 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the statistical information acquiring unit acquires the statistical information of the first image data which is included in the region of interest and corresponds to a portion of an image of an absorber.
17 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 16 , wherein the statistical information acquiring unit determines the first image data corresponding to the portion of the image of the absorber based on the second image data.
18 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the image data acquiring unit acquires the first image data in three-dimensions and the second image data in three-dimensions, and
wherein the region-of-interest setting unit sets the region of interest in three-dimensions.
19 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the first image data is an image data expressing the spatial distribution of the content or the content rate of at least one of water, melanin, collagen, and lipids.
20 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the second image data is an image data expressing the spatial distribution of an absorption coefficient.
21 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the statistical information is information expressing at least one of a representative value and a dispersion of the first image data corresponding to the region of interest.
22 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 21 , wherein the representative value includes an average value, a median or a mode, and
wherein the dispersion includes a variance, a standard deviation or a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value.
23 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the display control unit causes the display unit to display a text image of the statistical information.
24 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the statistical information acquiring unit generates a histogram of the first image data corresponding to the region of interest and acquires information expressing uni-modality or multi-modality as the statistical information based on a number of locations where plus and minus of a differentiated value of the histogram are inverted.
25 . The data processing apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the statistical information acquiring unit generates a histogram of the first image data corresponding to the region of interest and acquires the statistical information of the first image data corresponding to a peak of the histogram.
26 . A data processing method comprising:
acquiring a first image data that expresses a spatial distribution of a content or a content rate of a substance which constitutes an object, and a second image data that expresses a spatial distribution of information on the object different from the content or the content rate; displaying an image based on the second image data on a display unit; setting a region of interest based on information on the region of interest specified by an operator in a case where the image based on the second image data is displayed on the display unit; acquiring statistical information of the first image data corresponding to the region of interest based on the first image data; and displaying an image based on the statistical information on the display unit.
27 . The data processing method according to claim 26 , wherein the region of interest includes a first region of interest and a second region of interest which are different from each other, and
wherein the data processing method further comprises:
setting automatically a region corresponding to the entire region of the first image data as the first region of interest in the first image data;
setting a region corresponding to a part of the second image data specified by the operator in a case where the image based on the second image data is displayed on the display unit as the second region of interest in the first image data;
acquiring first statistical information of the first image data corresponding to the first region of interest and second statistical information of the first image data corresponding to the second region of interest as the statistical information; and
displaying an image including the first statistical information and the second statistical information on the display unit.
28 . The data processing method according to claim 27 , further comprising:
generating a first histogram of the first image data corresponding to the first region of interest and a second histogram of the first image data corresponding to the second region of interest; and displaying the first histogram by corresponding a color of an image indicating the first region of interest to a color of an image indicating the first histogram and the second histogram by corresponding a color of an image indicating the second region of interest to a color of an image indicating the second histogram on the display unit.
29 . The data processing method according to claim 26 , further comprising:
generating a histogram of the first image data corresponding to the region of interest; and acquiring an information expressing uni-modality or multi-modality as the statistical information based on a number of locations where plus and minus of a differentiated value of the histogram are inverted.
30 . The data processing method according to claim 26 , further comprising:
generating a histogram of the first image data corresponding to the region of interest; and acquiring the statistical information of the first image data corresponding to a peak of the histogram.
