Display device, driving method of display device, program, and memory medium

Abstract

A display position of an image is moved in accordance with positional information of a display device having a curved display surface. Displacement of a display device is sensed by a camera portion and an acceleration sensor, and the display position is determined in accordance with the displacement, so that the image is displayed in the display position. In the case where the display device rotates and the like, a desired piece of information can be displayed automatically in a display region that can be easily seen.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A display device comprising:
 a first camera portion configured to capture an image of a face of a user of the display device; and   a display portion configured to display an image in a display position determined based on a position of the face of the user in the captured image and an area of the face of the user in the captured image.   
     
     
         2 . The display device according to  claim 1 , wherein the display device is a wearable device. 
     
     
         3 . The display device according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a second camera portion whose an imaging range is outside an imaging range of the first camera portion.   
     
     
         4 . The display device according to  claim 1 , wherein the display portion is configured to display an image with a first luminance in a front face and with a second luminance lower than the first luminance in an outer peripheral surface. 
     
     
         5 . A display device comprising:
 a first camera portion configured to capture an image of a face of a user of the display device; and   a display portion configured to display an image in a display position determined based on a position of the face of the user in the captured image and not based on an area of the face of the user in the captured image,   wherein the display device is a wearable device.   
     
     
         6 . The display device according to  claim 5 , further comprising:
 a second camera portion whose an imaging range is outside an imaging range of the first camera portion.   
     
     
         7 . The display device according to  claim 5 , wherein the display portion configured to display an image with a first luminance in a front face and with a second luminance lower than the first luminance in an outer peripheral surface.
