Claims

Abstract

There is provided a blood coagulation system analyzer, including a measurement section and an analysis section. The measurement section measures a time change of impedance of a blood sample, which is obtainable by applying an alternating electric field to the blood sample. The analysis section extracts a parameter indicating the characteristics of the impedance from the measured data of the time change of the impedance. Furthermore, the analysis section analyzes a degree of enhancement of blood coagulation on the basis of a comparison of the extracted parameter with at least one reference value which defines the criteria of the enhancement of blood coagulation.

1 . A blood coagulation analyzing system comprising:
 a blood measurement circuit including an electrode configured to introduce an alternating electric field, wherein the blood measurement circuit is configured to measure electrical characteristics of a blood sample by applying a plurality of frequencies of the alternating electric field, and   a blood analysis circuit configured to determine a degree of blood coagulation based on the electrical characteristics of the blood sample under the plurality of frequencies of the alternating electric field,   wherein at least one of the frequencies of the alternating electric field is from 2 MHz to 40 MHz.   
     
     
         2 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the degree of blood coagulation includes at least one of a degree of enhancement of blood coagulation, a bleeding risk, a risk of thrombosis, and a risk of a coagulation disorder. 
     
     
         3 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the blood analysis circuit is configured to distinguish between a healthy subject and a subject with a medical condition based on the degree of blood coagulation. 
     
     
         4 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 3 , wherein the medical condition includes at least one of diabetes, atherosclerosis, cancer, heart disease, respiratory disease, and a surgical procedure. 
     
     
         5 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the blood analysis circuit is configured to determine a blood coagulation onset time based on a change of impedance of the blood sample over time. 
     
     
         6 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the blood analysis circuit is configured to determine whether the degree of blood coagulation is high when blood coagulation onset time is less than a reference blood coagulation onset time. 
     
     
         7 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 6 , wherein the blood coagulation onset time is a start time of a main linear part between a peak value and a valley value. 
     
     
         8 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the electrical characteristics of the blood sample includes impedance. 
     
     
         9 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 8 , wherein the impedance is associated with a permittivity of the blood sample. 
     
     
         10 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a sample cartridge configured to hold the blood sample; and   a power supply configured to provide an alternating-current voltage at a predetermined frequency to the electrode.   
     
     
         11 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the blood analysis circuit is configured to cause a display to display an analysis result associated with the blood coagulation of the blood sample. 
     
     
         12 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the analysis result includes a risk of thrombosis. 
     
     
         13 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the blood analysis circuit is configured to analyze the blood sample collected from a patient having respiratory disease, diabetes, or other internal disease. 
     
     
         14 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein the blood measurement circuit includes a second electrode. 
     
     
         15 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein each of the frequencies of the alternating electric field is from 2 MHz to 40 MHz. 
     
     
         16 . A blood coagulation analyzing method comprising:
 introducing, by a blood measurement circuit, an alternating electric field, measuring electrical characteristics of a blood sample by applying a plurality of frequencies of the alternating electric field, and   determine, by a blood analysis circuit, a degree of blood coagulation based on the electrical characteristics of the blood sample under the plurality of frequencies of the alternating electric field,   wherein at least one of the frequencies of the alternating electric field is from 2 MHz to 40 MHz.   
     
     
         17 . The blood coagulation analyzing method according to  claim 13 , wherein the blood measurement circuit includes a pair of electrodes. 
     
     
         18 . The blood coagulation analyzing system according to  claim 1 , wherein each of the frequencies of the alternating electric field is from 2 MHz to 40 MHz. 
     
     
         19 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program that causes a machine to:
 introduce, by a blood measurement circuit, an alternating electric field,   measure electrical characteristics of a blood sample by applying a plurality of frequencies of the alternating electric field, and   determine, by a blood analysis circuit, a degree of blood coagulation based on the electrical characteristics of the blood sample under the plurality of frequencies of the alternating electric field,   wherein at least one of the frequencies of the alternating electric field is from 2 MHz to 40 MHz.   
     
     
         20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to  claim 16 , wherein the degree of blood coagulation includes at least one of a degree of enhancement of blood coagulation, a bleeding risk, a risk of thrombosis, and a risk of a coagulation disorder.
