Abstract
A method of converting a blanket into a cape and an alternate convertible cover are also disclosed.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A convertible cover, comprising:
a cover; a first sleeve and a second sleeve each extending from a respective first opening to a respective second opening, wherein each of the first sleeve and the second sleeve has a front side and a backside, and backside defined by the cover, and a top side generally perpendicular to the first and second openings.
2 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein the first and second sleeves are integral with the cover.
3 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein the first and second sleeves lay relatively flat against the cover such that the cover can function as a blanket or towel.
4 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein the first and second sleeves are arranged in first and second quadrants of the cover, respectively.
5 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein the first and second sleeves are formed from panels attached to a front side of the cover.
6 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein the first opening and the second opening are generally parallel to one another.
7 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein each of the first sleeve and the second sleeve have a bottom side, the bottom side generally parallel to the top side.
8 . The convertible cover of claim 7 , wherein the bottom side is sewn to the cover.
9 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein the top side is sewn to the cover.
10 . The convertible cover of claim 1 , wherein the top side runs along a top edge of the cover.
11 . A method of converting a blanket into a cape, comprising the steps of:
providing a cover; providing a first sleeve and a second sleeve each extending from a respective first opening to a respective a second opening, wherein each of the first sleeve and the second sleeve has a front side and a backside, and the backside is defined by the cover; inserting first and second arms of a wearer completely through the first and second sleeves, respectively; and maneuvering the first and second arms outward from the wearer such that the cover is extended into a cape via the sleeves.
12 . A convertible cover, comprising:
a cover; a first sleeve and a second sleeve, each of the first sleeve and the second sleeve having a top side, and first and second openings generally perpendicular to the top side, the first and second openings extending from the top side towards a bottom edge of the cover.
13 . The convertible cover of claim 12 , wherein the top side runs along a top edge of the cover.
14 . The convertible cover of claim 12 , wherein the top side is sewn to the cover.
15 . The convertible cover of claim 12 , wherein each of the first and second sleeves have a bottom side generally parallel to the top side.
16 . The convertible cover of claim 15 , wherein the bottom side is sewn to the cover.
17 . The convertible cover of claim 12 , wherein the first and second sleeves are integral with the cover.
18 . The convertible cover of claim 12 , wherein the first and second sleeves lay relatively flat against the cover such that the cover can function as a blanket or towel.
19 . The convertible cover of claim 12 , wherein the first and second sleeves are arranged in first and second quadrants of the cover, respectively.
