Abstract

A processing apparatus includes a deinking material supply portion that supplies a deinking material to defibrated fibers, and an agitating portion that agitates a mixture of the deinking material and the fibers. The agitating portion includes a chamber and a rotary blade that rotates in the chamber.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A processing apparatus comprising:
 a deinking material supply portion that supplies a deinking material to defibrated fibers; and   an agitating portion that agitates a mixture of the deinking material and the fibers.   
     
     
         2 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the agitating portion includes a chamber and a rotary blade that rotates in the chamber.   
     
     
         3 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 2 ,
 wherein the rotary blade includes a plurality of radially extending blades arranged circumferentially around a rotation axis of the rotary blade.   
     
     
         4 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 a second rotary blade that rotates in the chamber around the same axis as the rotary blade.   
     
     
         5 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 an adjusting unit that adjusts a volume of an agitating space within the chamber.   
     
     
         6 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 5 ,
 wherein the adjusting unit includes a movable partition wall that selectively partitions the agitating space.   
     
     
         7 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 6 ,
 wherein the partition wall includes a ventilation port.   
     
     
         8 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 1 ,
 wherein the agitating portion includes:
 a cylindrical body that has teeth formed on an inner periphery thereof; and 
 a rotating body that rotates inboard of the teeth and has teeth formed on an outer periphery thereof. 
   
     
     
         9 . The processing apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a separating portion that separates the deinking material from the mixed deinking material and the fibers.   
     
     
         10 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 a defibrating portion that defibrates a fiber-containing material; and   the processing apparatus according to  claim 1 .   
     
     
         11 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 a defibrating portion that defibrates a fiber-containing material; and   the processing apparatus according to  claim 2 .   
     
     
         12 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 a defibrating portion that defibrates a fiber-containing material; and   the processing apparatus according to  claim 3 .   
     
     
         13 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 a defibrating portion that defibrates a fiber-containing material; and   the processing apparatus according to  claim 4 .   
     
     
         14 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 a defibrating portion that defibrates a fiber-containing material; and   the processing apparatus according to  claim 5 .   
     
     
         15 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 a defibrating portion that defibrates a fiber-containing material; and   the processing apparatus according to  claim 6 .   
     
     
         16 . A sheet manufacturing apparatus comprising:
 a defibrating portion that defibrates a fiber-containing material; and   the processing apparatus according to  claim 7 .   
     
     
         17 . A processing method comprising:
 supplying a deinking material to defibrated fibers; and   mixing and agitating the deinking material and the fibers.   
     
     
         18 . The processing method according to  claim 17 ,
 wherein the mixing and agitating is performed by a gas.   
     
     
         19 . A processing method comprising:
 supplying a deinking material to defibrated fibers;   mixing the deinking material and the fibers into a mixture; and   agitating the mixture.   
     
     
         20 . The processing method according to  claim 19 ,
 wherein the mixing and the agitating are performed by a gas.
