Abstract

A roll-forming machine having: an entrance end section in which a sheet of material with various sides and widths generally enters, wherein the sheet of material is configured to form a finished sheet component having a predetermined width with ends that meet or overlap; an exit end section where the finished sheet component exits; a lifting bar assembly for lifting an end segment of the material to cause a longitudinal bend in the material; a side roller bar assembly that is configured to form an upper end of said sheet component; a creasing bearing assembly that assists in a creasing of the sheet of material; and wherein said lifting bar implement is configured to at least one of, move the creasing bearing assembly and the side roller bar assembly, to a predetermined position to form a finished sheet component having a predetermined width.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A machine comprising:
 an entrance end section in which a sheet of material with various sides and various widths generally enters, wherein said sheet of material is configured to form a finished sheet component having a predetermined width, and wherein said sheet of material is further configured to form a sheet component having ends that meet or overlap;   an exit end section where said finished sheet component exits;   a lifting bar assembly, wherein said lifting bar assembly is configured to be operable for lifting an end segment of said material, and wherein said lifting is configured to cause a longitudinal bend in said material;   a side roller bar assembly into engagement with said lifting bar assembly, wherein said side roller bar assembly is configured to form an upper end of said sheet component;   a creasing bearing assembly into engagement with said side roller bar assembly, wherein said creasing bearing assembly is configured to assist in a creasing of said sheet of material; and   wherein said lifting bar implement is configured to at least one of, move said creasing bearing assembly and said side roller bar assembly, to a predetermined position to form a finished sheet component having a predetermined width.   
     
     
         2 . The machine of  claim 1 , further comprising a fixed side component and an adjustable side component. 
     
     
         3 . The machine of  claim 2 , in which said lifting bar assembly comprises a fixed lifting bar implement disposed on said fixed side component. 
     
     
         4 . The machine of  claim 3 , in which said lifting bar assembly further comprises an adjustable lifting bar implement disposed on said adjustable side component. 
     
     
         5 . The machine of  claim 4 , in which said side roller bar assembly comprises a fixed side roller bar implement disposed on said fixed side component. 
     
     
         6 . The machine of  claim 5 , in which said side roller bar assembly comprises an adjustable side roller bar implement disposed on said adjustable side component. 
     
     
         7 . The machine of  claim 6 , in which said creasing bearing assembly comprises a first creasing bearing implement disposed on said fixed side component. 
     
     
         8 . The machine of  claim 7 , in which said creasing bearing assembly comprises a second creasing bearing implement disposed on said adjustable side component. 
     
     
         9 . The machine of  claim 8 , wherein said adjustable lifting bar implement is configured to at least one of, move said second creasing bearing assembly and said adjustable side roller bar implement, to said predetermined position to form said finished sheet component having said predetermined width. 
     
     
         10 . The machine of  claim 9 , further comprising a skate roller bar, in which said skate roller bar comprises an entrance end portion, which is the end portion closest to said entrance end section and an exit end portion, which is an end portion closest to said exit end section. 
     
     
         11 . The machine of  claim 10 , further comprising a seam crimping roller into engagement with said skate roller bar, wherein said seam crimping roller is configured to introduce a seam in said finished sheet component. 
     
     
         12 . The machine of  claim 2 , further comprising a laterally adjustable bar that has extended portion with parts that does not cross the roller forming plane. 
     
     
         13 . The machine of  claim 2 , further comprising a continuous bar that has an exposed section with a skate roller and idle roller disposed in various locations along a length of said continuous bar, has no parts and crosses a plane of said side roller bar assembly. 
     
     
         14 . The machine of  claim 2 , further comprising an extended section of a bar that has two sets of rollers with one set located above the other, has no parts and crosses roller forming plane a plane of said side roller bar assembly. 
     
     
         15 . A machine comprising:
 means for allowing an entrance of a generally flat sheet of material with various sides and various widths or heights, wherein said sheet of material is configured to form a finished sheet component having a predetermined width, and wherein said sheet of material is further configured to form a sheet component having at least 4 sides with ends that meet or overlap;   means for allowing an exit of said finished sheet component;   means for lifting an end segment of said material, and wherein said lifting is configured to cause a longitudinal bend in said material;   means for forming an upper end of said sheet component, wherein said forming means is into engagement with said lifting means;   means for assisting in a creasing of said sheet of material, wherein said creasing assisting means is into engagement with said forming means; and   wherein said lifting means is further configured to at least one of, move said assisting means and said forming means, to a predetermined position to form said finished sheet component having a predetermined width.   
     
     
         16 . A machine comprising:
 an entrance end section in which a generally flat sheet of material with various sides and various widths generally enters, wherein said sheet of material is configured to form a finished sheet component having a predetermined width, and wherein said sheet of material is further configured to form a sheet component having at least 4 sides that meet or overlap;   an exit end section where said finished sheet component exits;   a fixed side component, wherein said fixed side component is configured to contain non-adjustable machine components;   an adjustable side component that is configured to contain adjustable machine components;   a lifting bar assembly, wherein said lifting bar assembly is configured to be operable for lifting an end segment of said material, and wherein said lifting is configured to cause a longitudinal bend in said material;   a side roller bar assembly into engagement with said lifting bar assembly, wherein said side roller bar assembly is configured to form an upper end of said sheet component;   a creasing bearing assembly into engagement with said side roller bar assembly, wherein said creasing bearing assembly is configured to assist in a creasing of said sheet of material; and   wherein said lifting bar implement is configured to at least one of, move said creasing bearing assembly and said side roller bar assembly, to a predetermined position to form a finished sheet component having a predetermined width.   
     
     
         17 . The machine of  claim 18 , in which said lifting bar assembly comprises a fixed lifting bar implement disposed on said fixed side component, in which said lifting bar assembly further comprises an adjustable lifting bar implement disposed on said adjustable side component.

The machine of  claim 17 , in which said side roller bar assembly comprises a fixed side roller bar implement disposed on said fixed side component, in which said side roller bar assembly comprises an adjustable side roller bar implement disposed on said adjustable side component. 
     
     
         19 . The machine of claim Error: Reference source not found, in which said creasing bearing assembly comprises a first creasing bearing implement disposed on said fixed side component and a second creasing bearing implement disposed on said adjustable side component.

The machine of  claim 19 , wherein said adjustable lifting bar implement is configured to at least one of, move said second creasing bearing assembly and said adjustable side roller bar implement, to said predetermined position to form said finished sheet component having said predetermined width.
