Abstract

A method of setting operating conditions of a detector in an imaging system includes searching for a detector that is not registered in the imaging system; acquiring detector profile information from the searched detector; registering the detector based on the detector profile information; allocating a predetermined marker to the registered detector to represent activation or non-activation thereof; transmitting control information including the allocated predetermined marker to the detector; receiving detector correction information from the detector; and setting operating conditions of the detector based on the received detector correction information.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method for a X-ray imaging system to register detector correction information of a detector, the method comprising:
 receiving a detector profile information broadcasted from a detector which is not registered in the X-ray imaging system;   transmitting a signal for requesting to access the detector, to the detector;   acquiring the detector profile information from the detector in response to the signal for requesting to access the detector; and   registering the detector correction information based on the detector profile information,   wherein the acquiring the detector profile information comprises acquiring the detector correction information from the detector.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the acquiring the detector profile information comprises transmitting a signal for requesting to stop broadcasting the detector profile information, to the detector. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the acquiring the detector profile information comprises registering the detector into a detector list stored in the X-ray imaging system. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein the acquiring the detector profile information comprises:
 allocating a marker corresponding to the detector;   registering the marker with the detector into the detector list; and   transmitting a signal related to the marker to the detector.   
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the registering the detector correction information comprises setting operating conditions of the detector based on the detector correction information. 
     
     
         6 . X-ray imaging system comprising:
 a transceiver configured to transmit and receive data to and from a detector connected to a network;   a processor configured to:
 control the transceiver to receive a detector profile information broadcasted to the network from a detector which is not registered in the X-ray imaging system, 
 control the transceiver to transmit a signal for requesting to access the detector to the detector; 
 control the transceiver to acquire the detector profile information from the detector in response to the signal for requesting to access the detector; and 
 register the detector correction information based on the detector profile information, 
   wherein the processor is further configured to control the transceiver to acquire a detector correction information from the detector.   
     
     
         7 . The X-ray imaging system of  claim 6 , wherein the processor is further configured to control the transceiver to transmit a signal for requesting to stop broadcasting the detector profile information, to the detector. 
     
     
         8 . The X-ray imaging system of  claim 6 , wherein the processor is further configured to register the detector into a detector list stored in a memory of the X-ray imaging system. 
     
     
         9 . The X-ray imaging system of  claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
 allocate a marker corresponding to the detector;   register the marker with the detector into the detector list; and   control the transceiver to transmit a signal related to the marker to the detector.   
     
     
         10 . The X-ray imaging system of  claim 6 , wherein the processor is further configured to set operating conditions of the detector based on the detector correction information. 
     
     
         11 . A method for transmitting detector correction information of a detector which is not registered in a imaging system to the X-ray imaging system, the method comprising:
 broadcasting a detector profile information to a network which is connected to the detector;   receiving a signal for requesting to access the detector from the X-ray imaging system; and   transmitting the detector profile information in response to the signal for requesting to access the detector to the X-ray imaging system,   wherein the transmitting the detector profile information comprises transmitting the detector correction information of the detector to the X-ray imaging system, and   wherein the detector correction information of the detector comprises information used to set an imaging condition of the X-ray imaging system that performs X-ray imaging using the detector.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the transmitting the detector profile information comprises:
 receiving a signal for requesting to stop broadcasting the detector profile information, from the X-ray imaging system; and   stopping broadcasting the detector profile information to the network.   
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the transmitting the detector profile information comprises:
 receiving information related to a marker allocated to correspond to the detector, from the X-ray imaging system; and   outputting a state of the detector based on the information related to the marker.   
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the detector profile information comprises at least one from among a type and a serial number of the detector. 
     
     
         15 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein the detector correction information of the detector comprise at least one from among detector step difference correction information indicating an amount of step difference correction of the detector for performing imaging and defective pixel compensation information indicating a range of defective pixel compensation of the detector for performing imaging. 
     
     
         16 . A detector comprising:
 a transceiver configured to transmit and receive data to and from a network which is connected to the detector and a X-ray imaging system in which the detector is not registered; and   a processor configured to control the transceiver to:   broadcast a detector profile information to the network;   receive a signal for requesting to access the detector from the X-ray imaging system;   transmit the detector profile information in response to the signal for requesting to access the detector to the X-ray imaging system; and   transmit the detector correction information of the detector to the X-ray imaging system,   wherein the detector correction information of the detector comprises information used to set an imaging condition of the X-ray imaging system that performs X-ray imaging using the detector.   
     
     
         17 . The detector of  claim 16 , wherein the processor is further configured to control the transceiver to:
 receive a signal for requesting to stop broadcasting the detector profile information, from the X-ray imaging system, and   stop broadcasting the detector profile information to the network.   
     
     
         18 . The detector of  claim 16 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
 control the transceiver to receive information related to a marker allocated to correspond to the detector, from the X-ray imaging system, and   control the display of the detector to output a state of the detector based on the information related to the marker.   
     
     
         19 . The detector of  claim 16 , wherein the detector profile information comprises at least one from among a type and a serial number of the detector. 
     
     
         20 . The detector of  claim 16 , wherein the detector correction information of the detector comprises at least one from among detector step difference correction information indicating an amount of step difference correction of the detector for performing imaging and defective pixel compensation information indicating a range of defective pixel compensation of the detector for performing imaging.
