Claims

Abstract

A construction metal tie wire that includes: a first wire; a second wire, where the first wire and second wire are braided together; a first end, where the first end is adapted to enable tying a rebar; and a second end, where the first end is adapted to enable tying a rebar. Preferably the first wire and second wire are in the range of 8 to 12 gauge. The present invention further relates to a method of tying a rebar assembly using the construction metal wire that includes the steps attaching and tying metal wire to portions of the rebar assembly until the rebar assembly is complete.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A construction metal tie wire comprising:
 a. a first wire;   b. a second wire, where the first wire and second wire are braided together;   c. a first end, where the first end is adapted to enable tying a rebar; and   d. a second end, where the first end is adapted to enable tying a rebar.   
     
     
         2 . The construction metal tie wire according to  claim 1 , where the first wire and second wire are in the range of 8 to 12 gauge. 
     
     
         3 . A method of tying a rebar assembly comprising the steps of:
 a. using a dual metal wire, where the dual metal wire includes a first wire and a second wire, a first end and a second end;   b. attaching the first end to a grouping of rebar by separating the first wire and second wire;   c. tying the first end into a stable position by rejoining the first wire and second wire;   d. attaching the second end to a grouping of rebar by separating the first wire and second wire;   e. tying the second end into a stable position by rejoining the first wire and second wire; and   f. repeating steps a-d until the rebar assembly is complete.   
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 3 , where the first wire and second wire are in a range of 8 to 12 gauge wire.
