Hair-N-Square

Abstract

The product's unique square shape allows for easy storage and for the hair to stay up when pushed back. The fact that the product is square instead of rounded creates a unique look when the product is used to push the hair back from the face. Rather than settling back into its natural position, the hair is forced to stay up inconformity with the right angles at either side of the product which would not occur had the product been rounded.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A construct for lifting the hair away from the face, giving it volume, and preventing the shedding of stray hair. 
     
     
         2 . The construct of  claim 1  comprising a flat, horizontal edge with four teeth which protrude vertically from the flat edge at right angles. 
     
     
         3 . The construct of  claim 1  also comprising two flat vertical edges which are attached to the construct of  claim 2  via spring hinges at approximately 90 degree angles on either end of the construct of  claim 2  such that they form a square with the opposite side of construct  2  missing. 
     
     
         4 . The constructs of  claim 3  also having the ability to fold inward across each other such that they form a horizontal “X” across the construct of  claim 2 , making the construct of  claim 1  compact and easily storable. 
     
     
         5 . The construct of  claim 2  containing vertical teeth spaced approximately ⅝ of an inch apart. 
     
     
         6 . The construct of  claim 2  containing four or more teeth. 
     
     
         7 . The construct of  claim 2  comprising a length of at least 5.5 inches. 
     
     
         8 . The constructs of  claim 3  being approximately 1/16 of an inch thick. 
     
     
         9 . The constructs mentioned in  claim 1  being shaped like an upside down letter “T”. 
     
     
         10 . The teeth mentioned in  claim 1  being approximately ¼ of an inch across at the top of the letter “T” shape. 
     
     
         11 . The constructs of  claim 9  being approximately ⅛ of an inch across at the base of the letter “T” shape. 
     
     
         12 . The constructs of  claim 3  being approximately 6 inches long. 
     
     
         13 . The constructs of  claim 9  providing lift to the hair and locking it into place. 
     
     
         14 . The constructs of  claim 3  forming an “X” shape when they are both folded inward and the construct of  claim 1  is in its compact form. 
     
     
         15 . The construct of  claim 1  being less likely to break due to its square shape as opposed to other rounded alternatives. 
     
     
         16 . The construct of  claim 1  preventing the shedding of stray hair.
