Abstract

An object is to provide a communication system capable of preventing a number of control signals, which could occur in a mobile communication network, from occurring when a VM is deleted in a node device without suspending a service. A communication system according to the present invention includes a communication device 1, and a communication device 2 configured to control a plurality of sessions set between the communication devices 1 and 2 by using a plurality of VMs, in which the communication device 2 notifies, by using a determination that a plurality of sessions that are controlled between the communication device 1 and a VM 3 should be controlled in a VM 4 different from the VM 3 as a trigger, the communication device 1 of identification information used in the VM 4 and updates the sessions.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 41 . (canceled)

         42 . A communication system comprising:
 a first communication device, and a second communication device configured to:
 control a plurality of sessions set between the first communication device and the second communication device by using a plurality of virtual machine;
 according to a determination that a session between the first communication device and a first virtual machine to be transferred to a second virtual machine, notify an identifier of the second virtual machine to a base station.

         43 . The communication system according to claim 42 ,
 wherein the determination made when the first virtual machine would be unavailable.

         44 . The communication system according to claim 42 ,
 wherein the determination made when the first virtual machine would be deleted.

         45 . The communication system according to claim 42 ,
 wherein the second communication device notifies the first communication device of identifier of the second virtual machine for the plurality of sessions at a time.

         46 . The communication system according to claim 42 ,
 wherein the identifier is an IP (Internet Protocol) address or a TEID (Tunnel Endpoint ID).

         47 . A communication device comprising:
 a memory storing instructions; and a processor configured to execute the instructions to:
 control a plurality of sessions set between the communication device and other communication device by using a plurality of virtual machine;
 according to a determination that a session between the communication device and a first virtual machine to be transferred to a second virtual machine, notify an identifier of the second virtual machine to a base station.

         48 . The communication device according to claim 47 ,
 wherein the determination made when the first virtual machine would be unavailable.

         49 . The communication device according to claim 47 ,
 wherein the determination made when the first virtual machine would be deleted.

         50 . The communication device according to claim 47 ,
 wherein the other communication device notifies the communication device of identifier of the second virtual machine for the plurality of sessions at a time.

         51 . The communication device according to claim 47 ,
 wherein the identifier is an IP (Internet Protocol) address or a TEID (Tunnel Endpoint ID).

         52 . A communication method comprising:
 control a plurality of sessions set between a first communication device and second communication device by using a plurality of virtual machine; according to a determination that a session between the first communication device and a first virtual machine to be transferred to a second virtual machine, notify an identifier of the second virtual machine to a base station.

         53 . The communication method according to claim 52 ,
 wherein the determination made when the first virtual machine would be unavailable.

         54 . The communication method according to claim 52 ,
 wherein the determination made when the first virtual machine would be deleted.

         55 . The communication method according to claim 52 ,
 wherein the second communication device notifies the first communication device of identifier of the second virtual machine for the plurality of sessions at a time.

         56 . The communication method according to claim 52 ,
 wherein the identifier is an IP (Internet Protocol) address or a TEID (Tunnel Endpoint ID).
