Abstract
Activity monitoring may include tracking of a route or location where the activity was performed. In some examples, the route may be displayed against a heat map identifying areas of higher activity or popularity. Alternatively or additionally, routes may be automatically generated by a system based on various specifications such as an amount of time, a preferred location (a start and an end), a level of popularity or activity level, and the like and/or combinations thereof. A user's workout information may further be stored in association with a particular location or route.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer readable instructions that, when executed, cause an apparatus to:
generating an interface including a list of users that completed an athletic activity route, wherein the list of users includes a current user; providing an option in the interface for the current user to remove the current user from the list of the users; and upon receiving a request to remove the current user from the list of the users, disassociating one or more performances of the current user from the athletic activity route.
2 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 1 , wherein disassociating the one or more performances of the current user from the athletic activity route further includes hiding the one or more performances from public view.
3 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 1 , wherein disassociating the one or more performances of the current user is only affects information viewed by other users.
4 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 3 , wherein the one or more performances viewable in association with the athletic activity route by the current user.
5 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer readable instructions that, when executed, cause an apparatus to:
receive a user request to display one or more predefined activity routes, wherein the request specifies a location; identifying a plurality of predefined activity routes within a specified distance of the location; and filtering the plurality of predefined activity routes based on at least one parameter of a user from which the request was received.
6 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 5 , wherein the at least one parameter includes at least one of: a starting location and an ending location.
7 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 5 , wherein the at least one parameter includes at least one of: a popularity level and an activity level of the predefined activity routes.
8 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 5 , wherein the at least one parameter includes a desired amount of workout time.
9 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 5 , further comprising displaying activity statistics for one or more performances by one or more other users for at least one of the predefined activity routes.
10 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 9 , wherein the activity statistics include a maximum or minimum activity metric recorded for the at least one of the predefined activity routes.
11 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 5 , wherein the at least one parameter includes an activity type.
12 . A method comprising:
generating a computing device, a user interface for creating one or more activity routes; generating for display, via the user interface, a map indicating a first location; receiving, via an input device of the computing device, a first input selection indicating a path within the map; determining, by the computing device and based on the first input selection, a first activity route associated with the first location; and displaying, via the user interface, the first activity route within the map.
13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
determining, by the computing device, a plurality of available activity routes within the first location; and filtering, by the computing device, one or more of the plurality of activity routes based on a level of difficulty.
14 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
determining, by the computing device, a plurality of available activity routes within the first location; and filtering, by the computing device, one or more of the plurality of activity routes based on previous athletic activity performed by a first user.
15 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the input device comprises a touch screen.
16 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
determining, by the computing device, at least one of a popularity level or an activity level of a plurality of areas within the first location; receiving, by the computing device, a second input selection indicating a starting position and an ending position within the map; and automatically determining, based on the second input selection and the at least one of the determined popularity level or activity level, a second activity route within the first location.
17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the activity level includes a number of activity performances associated with a corresponding area within the first location.
18 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
detecting, by the computing device, user interaction with a first segment of the first activity route; and in response to the detecting, displaying a sub-interface indicating activity data associated with performance of the first segment of the first activity route by one or more users.
19 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
detecting, by the computing device, user interaction with a first segment of the first activity route; and in response to the detecting, displaying a sub-interface indicating one or more images associated with performance of the first segment of the first activity route by one or more users.
20 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:
receiving a user request to display one or more predefined activity routes, wherein the user request specifies a second location; determining, by the computing device, a plurality of predefined activity routes within a specified distance of the second location; filtering the plurality of predefined activity routes based on at least one parameter of a first user from which the user request was received; and displaying, via the user interface, one or more predetermined activity routes of the plurality of predefined activity routes.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
