Handbag system involving multiple components and arrangements

Abstract

A personal tote system includes a first tote bag and optionally a second tote bag. Each tote bag having a closed side and a bounded open side defining a containing volume therein. Snap pivot links on opposite sides of each of the bounded openings. A shoulder strap having opposed ends and a sliding link therebetween. A portion of the shoulder strap having a narrower portion and a wider-portion at least twice a width of the narrower portion. One of the snap pivot links secured to a shoulder strap first end. One of the other shoulder strap end and the sliding link being secured to the other snap pivot link thereby allowing each tote to be supported by the shoulder strap in an extended position and a contracted folded position. The totes may be separated, folded into compact sizes and arranged for improved user convenience.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A personal tote system, comprising:
 a first tote member having a closed bottom on a first end and a bounded opening on an opposed second end;   said bounded opening having a first side opposite a second side;   a first securing pivot member on said first side;   a second securing pivot member on said second side;   a first support strap member having a full length and an opposed first strap end and a second strap end;   a securing link member slidably arranged on said support strap between said first strap end and said second strap end, whereby said securing link member slidable from said first strap end to said second strap end during an adjustment use thereof;   said support strap member removably secured to said first tote member on said first securing pivot member and said second securing pivot member enabling a toting support of said personal tote system during a carry use thereof;   at least said first strap end being removably removably secured to said first securing pivot member; and   at least one of said second strap end and said securing link member being secured to said second securing pivot member;   
     
     
         2 . The personal tote system, according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a first portion and a second portion of said support strap member;   said first portion having a width that is more than twice a width of a said second portion;   said securing link member slidable over both said first portion and said second portion.   
     
     
         3 . The personal tote system, according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 a second tote member having a closed bottom on a first end and a second bounded opening on a second opposed second end;   said second bounded opening having a first side opposite a second side;   a second tote first securing member and a second tote second securing member on said second bounded opening;   said first securing pivot member and said second securing pivot member from said first tote removably linkable with respective said second tote first securing member and said second tote second securing member thereby releasably securing said second tote member within said first tote member.   
     
     
         4 . The personal tote system, according to  claim 3 , wherein:
 at least one aid second tote member and said first tote member including a top closure member; and   at least a third securing pivot member on said first tote member;   said at least third securing pivot member secured proximate said closed bottom on said first end of said first tote member; and   at least a fourth securing pivot member on said first tote member;   said at least fourth securing pivot member secured proximate said closed bottom on said first end of said first tote member positioned opposite said third securing pivot member.   
     
     
         5 . The personal tote system, according to  claim 4 , further comprising:
 a second support strap member having a full length and an opposed first second support strap end and a second second support strap end;   a third support strap member having a full length and an opposed first third support strap end and a second third support strap end;   said second support strap securing said third securing pivot member to said first securing pivot member and said third support strap securing said fourth securing pivot member to said second securing pivot member, whereby said first tote bag may be folded over and secured to in a folded condition during a transport use.
