Abstract
In some examples, a method for changing an appearance of a bank is provided including the acts of removably separating a first upper housing of the bank from a lower housing of the bank, selecting a second upper housing, and removably attaching the second upper housing of the bank to the lower housing of the bank.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An educational saving system, comprising:
an upper housing defining a plurality of openings and comprising a first plurality of connectors on a lower portion thereof; and a lower housing defining at least three chambers and comprising a second plurality of connectors on an upper portion thereof, each of the at least three chambers corresponding to one of the plurality of openings in the upper housing, at least one of the three chambers including a movable door and including a lock to lock the movable door in a closed position, wherein the upper housing is constructed to matingly engage the lower housing to collectively define a bank having three separate chambers to receive currency, wherein the upper housing is removably attachable to the lower housing via connection between the first plurality of connectors and the second plurality of connectors, and wherein the upper housing is selected from a plurality of different selectable upper housings.
2 . The educational saving system of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of selectable upper housings is constructed to resemble a different vehicle.
3 . The educational saving system of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of openings in each of the plurality of selectable upper housings comprise a slot to receive currency.
4 . The educational saving system of claim 3 , wherein each of the plurality of selectable upper housings comprises a first currency slot positioned to drop currency into a first chamber, a second currency slot positioned to drop currency a second chamber and a third currency slot positioned to drop currency into a third chamber.
5 . The educational saving system of claim 3 , wherein the first plurality of connectors includes one or more male connectors and wherein the second plurality of connectors includes one or more female connectors.
6 . A bank for an educational saving system, the bank comprising:
a lower housing defining a first opening and a second opening, the first opening and the second opening being positioned at first side of the base; a first removable plug dimensioned to occlude the first opening; a second removable plug dimensioned to occlude the second opening; a lockable and movable access door positioned at a second side of the lower housing; an upper housing constructed to removably attach to the lower housing; and a plurality of partitions between the lower housing and the upper housing to define a first chamber, a second chamber and a third chamber, wherein the upper housing includes a first opening in communication with the first chamber, a second opening in communication with the second chamber and a third opening in communication with the third chamber, and wherein the upper housing is selected from a plurality of different upper housings.
7 . The bank according to claim 6 , wherein at least one of the plurality of partitions is attached to the lower housing.
8 . The bank according to claim 6 , wherein at least one of the plurality of partitions is attached to the upper housing.
9 . The bank according to claim 6 , wherein the upper housing comprises a first plurality of connectors on a lower portion thereof and wherein the lower housing comprises a second plurality of connectors on an upper portion thereof.
10 . The bank according to claim 9 , wherein the first plurality of connectors includes one or more male connectors and wherein the second plurality of connectors includes one or more female connectors.
11 . The bank according to claim 6 , wherein each of the plurality of different upper housings is constructed to resemble a different vehicle.
12 . The bank according to claim 6 , wherein the plurality of different upper housings includes at least a first upper housing constructed to resemble a first vehicle and a second upper housing constructed to resemble a second vehicle different from the first vehicle.
13 . A method for changing an appearance of a bank, the method comprising:
removably separating a first upper housing of the bank from a lower housing of the bank; selecting a second upper housing; and removably attaching the second upper housing of the bank to the lower housing of the bank.
14 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the first upper housing and the second upper housing each include a first plurality of connectors on a lower portion thereof and wherein the lower housing includes a second plurality of connectors on an upper portion thereof, the first plurality of connectors and the second plurality of connectors being configured to matingly and releasably engage one another to removably secure the lower housing to each of the first upper housing and the second upper housing.
15 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the act of removably attaching the second upper housing of the bank to the lower housing of the bank includes positioning a plurality of partitions in a volume defined between the second upper housing and the lower housing to define at least three chambers, at least three chambers corresponding to a portion of the lower housing including a lockable access port.
16 . The method according to claim 13 , wherein the act of selecting a second upper housing includes selecting the second upper housing from a plurality of upper housings, each of the plurality of upper housings being different than the first upper housing.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
