Display Control Device, Recording Control Device, And Display Control Method

Abstract

There is provided a display control device including a related content acquisition unit that acquires related content that relates to predetermined video content, and a display controller that applies control to display the related content after the predetermined video content is recorded.

         2 . A display control apparatus comprising:
 a related content acquirer configured to acquire related content that relates to program video content;   a display controller configured to control a display device to display the related content; and   a communication interface configured to communicate with a program video content processing apparatus that processes the program video content,   wherein the related content is acquired in accordance with related content information associated with at least a portion of the program video content.   
     
     
         3 . The display control apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the related content information includes a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). 
     
     
         4 . The display control apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the portion of the program video content includes a scene of the program video content. 
     
     
         5 . The display control apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the display control apparatus is configured to remotely control the program video content processing apparatus via the communication interface. 
     
     
         6 . The display control apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the display control apparatus is configured to:
 obtain an identification of the portion of the program video content, and   obtain the related content information in accordance with the identification of the portion of the program video content.   
     
     
         7 . The display control apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the display control apparatus is configured to present the related content in synchronization with the processing of the program video content by the program video content processing apparatus. 
     
     
         8 . The display control apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the related content information includes one or more keywords associated with at the least a portion of the program video content. 
     
     
         9 . A display control method comprising:
 acquiring related content that relates to program video content;   controlling a display device to display the related content; and   communicating with a program video content processing apparatus that processes the program video content,   wherein the related content is acquired in accordance with related content information associated with at least a portion of the program video content.   
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein the related content information includes a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). 
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein the portion of the program video content includes a scene of the program video content. 
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 9 , comprising remotely controlling the program video content processing apparatus. 
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 9 , comprising:
 obtaining an identification of the portion of the program video content, and   obtaining the related content information in accordance with the identification of the portion of the program video content.   
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein controlling the display device includes controlling the display device to display the related content in synchronization with the processing of the program video content by the program video content processing apparatus. 
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein the related content information includes one or more keywords associated with at the least a portion of the program video content. 
     
     
         16 . A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program which when executed by a computer causes the computer to perform the display control method of  claim 9 . 
     
     
         17 . A program video content processing apparatus comprising:
 a receiver configured to receive program video content;   a video processor configured to process the program video content; and   a communication interface configured to communicate with a display control apparatus that displays related content that relates to the program video content,   wherein the related content is acquired in accordance with related content information associated with at least a portion of the program video content.   
     
     
         18 . The program video content processing apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the related content information includes a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). 
     
     
         19 . The program video content processing apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the program video content processing apparatus is configured to be remotely controlled by the display control apparatus via the communication interface. 
     
     
         20 . The program video content processing apparatus according to  claim 17 , wherein the program video content processing apparatus is configured to process the program video content in synchronization with the display of the related content by the display control apparatus. 
     
     
         21 . The program video content processing apparatus according to  claim 17 , comprising a feature extractor configured to extract feature information from the program video content.
