Cosmetic container
Abstract
A cosmetic container includes a base having a bottom wall, and a surrounding wall extending upwardly from and cooperating with the bottom wall to define an accommodating space for containing a cosmetic material. A top cover unit removably covers the base. A gasket unit is disposed on the surrounding wall opposite to the bottom wall and includes a silicone piece extending across and covering the accommodating space. The silicone piece is formed with a through hole group communicating with the accommodating space, and is depressible to contact the cosmetic material and to permit access of the cosmetic material through the through hole group.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A cosmetic container, comprising:
a base including a bottom wall, and a surrounding wall extending upwardly from and cooperating with said bottom wall to define an accommodating space for containing a cosmetic material; a top cover unit removably covering said base; and a gasket unit disposed on said surrounding wall opposite to said bottom wall and including a silicone piece extending across and covering said accommodating space, said silicone piece being formed with a through hole group communicating with said accommodating space, and being depressible to contact the cosmetic material and to permit access of the cosmetic material through said through hole group.
2 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said through hole group includes a plurality of first through holes angularly spaced apart from each other along a first circular direction (D 1 ) proximate to the center of said silicone piece, and a plurality of second through holes angularly spaced apart from each other along a second circular direction (D 2 ) surrounding the first circular direction (D 1 ), said first and second through holes being arranged staggered in relation to one another.
3 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 2 , wherein each of said first and second through holes extends in a radial direction.
4 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 3 , wherein each of said first through holes extends radially between two adjacent ones of said second through holes, and each of said second through holes extends radially between two adjacent ones of said first through holes.
5 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the length of each of said first through holes is 6 to 8 times the width thereof, and the length of each of said second through holes is 6 to 8 times the width thereof.
6 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 5 , wherein each of said first through holes has radially opposite inner and outer ends, and tapers from said inner end to said outer end, said inner end having a radius of curvature of about 0.3 mm to 0.4 mm, said outer end having a radius of curvature of about 0.15 mm to 0.25 mm.
7 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 5 , wherein each of said second through holes has two opposite ends, each of which has a radius of curvature of about 0.25 mm to 0.35 mm.
8 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said gasket unit further includes an outer ring member and an inner ring member engaged to each other, said silicone piece including a circular deformable portion extending across and covering said accommodating space, and a positioning portion extending downwardly from an outer periphery of said circular deformable portion and sandwiched between said outer and inner ring members, said through hole group being formed in said circular deformable portion.
9 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 8 , wherein said silicone piece has a thickness of about 0.2 mm to 0.7 mm.
10 . The cosmetic container as claimed in claim 8 , wherein said surrounding wall includes a first surrounding wall portion extending upwardly from said bottom wall and having a ring shape, and a second surrounding wall portion extending upwardly from said first surrounding wall portion and having a thickness thinner than that of said first surrounding wall portion, and an annular shoulder between an inner peripheral surface of said first surrounding wall portion and an inner peripheral surface of said second surrounding wall portion, said outer ring member being pressfitted into said inner peripheral surface of said second surrounding wall portion and having a bottom periphery abutting against said annular shoulder.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
