Zipper with automatic coupling
Abstract
The invention relates to a zipper with automatic coupling, which comprises a part fixed to the clothing (1, 1′, 4) and an exchangeable part (2, 2′, 3), the fixed part comprising first joining elements (1, 1′) solidly joined to a garment (4) by one of the sides thereof and which can be joined on the opposite side to the exchangeable part. According to the invention, the exchangeable part comprises second joining elements (2, 2′) disposed longitudinally, in parallel with respect to a zipper closure (3) and fixed to said zipper closure (3), the first joining elements (1, 1′) and the second joining elements (2, 2′) together forming a male-female joint or clip joint.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A zipper assembly with automatic coupling, characterized in that it comprises a fixed part fixed to the clothing and an exchangeable part, the fixed part comprising first joining elements solidly joined to a garment by one of the sides thereof and which can be joined on the opposite side to the exchangeable part, and second joining elements disposed longitudinally, in parallel with respect to a zipper closure and fixed to said zipper closure, the first joining elements and the second joining elements together forming a male-female joint or clip joint.
2 . The zipper assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the zipper closure is a double slider zipper.
3 . The zipper assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the zipper closure has a male-female guide inside the zipper closure, which prevents it from entering into contact with the garment.
4 . A zipper assembly for closing an opening of an item, comprising:
a first zipper connector having a first surface configured to be fixedly connected with a first side of the opening of the item, a second zipper connector having a first surface configured to be fixedly connected with a second side of the opening of the item, wherein each of the first and second zipper connectors are longitudinally elongated; and a longitudinally elongated interchangeable zipper operable to close the opening in the garment, wherein the zipper comprises:
a third zipper connector fixedly connected with a first side of the zipper, wherein the third zipper connector is configured to cooperate with the first zipper connector to connect the first side of the zipper with the first side of the opening; and
a fourth zipper connector fixedly connected with a second side of the zipper, wherein the fourth zipper connector is configured to cooperate with the second zipper connector to connect the second side of the zipper with the second side of the opening
wherein the third and fourth zipper connectors are parallel to one another extending longitudinally along the first and second sides of the zipper.
5 . The zipper assembly of claim 4 wherein each of the first and third zipper connectors and the second and fourth zipper connectors together form a male-female connection or clip.
6 . The zipper assembly of claim 4 wherein the first zipper connector is releasably connectable with the third zipper connector and the second zipper connector is releasably connectable with the fourth connector to facilitate removal of the zipper from the garment.
7 . The zipper assembly of claim 4 wherein the zipper is a double slider zipper.
8 . The zipper assembly of claim 4 wherein the zipper comprises a male-female guide inside the zipper which prevents the zipper from contacting the garment.
9 . The zipper assembly of claim 4 wherein the first and second zipper connectors comprise a series of longitudinally aligned connecting elements.
10 . A method for replacing a zipper comprising the steps of:
providing a garment having an opening closed by the zipper assembly of claim 4 ; unhooking the zipper from the first and second zipper connectors; and providing a second zipper having connectors cooperable with the first and second zipper connectors; and attaching the second zipper with the first and second zipper connectors to attach the second zipper to the garment.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
