Abstract

A synthetic polymer film (34A) having a surface which has a plurality of raised portions (34Ap), (34Bp), wherein a two-dimensional size of the plurality of raised portions (34Ap), (34Bp) is in a range of more than 20 nm and less than 500 nm when viewed in a normal direction of the synthetic polymer film (34A), (34B), the surface having a microbicidal effect, and a concentration of a nitrogen element included in the surface is not less than 0.7 at %.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A synthetic polymer film having a surface which has a plurality of first raised portions, wherein
a two-dimensional size of the plurality of first raised portions is in a range of more than 20 nm and less than 500 nm when viewed in a normal direction of the synthetic polymer film, the surface having a microbicidal effect, a concentration of a nitrogen element included in the surface is not less than 0.7 at %, and the surface has a flat portion between adjoining first raised portions among the plurality of first raised portions.

2 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , produced from a urethane acrylate-containing acrylic resin.

3 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , comprising any of an amino group, an isocyanate group and a cyano group.

4 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , wherein the synthetic polymer film is made from a compound whose terminal functional group includes —NH 2 or —NHR, wherein R represents a hydrocarbon group.

5 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , further comprising a silane coupling agent, wherein the silane coupling agent includes any of an amino group, an isocyanate group and a cyano group.

6 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 7 , wherein the silane coupling agent is present in or on the surface of the synthetic polymer film.

7 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , further comprising an alkali metal salt or an alkali earth metal salt.

8 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , further comprising a lithium salt.

9 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , wherein the two-dimensional size of the plurality of first raised portions is smaller than an adjoining distance of the plurality of first raised portions.

10 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first raised portions include a cylinder portion.

11 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first raised portions include a conical portion.

12 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 1 , wherein
the surface further comprises a plurality of second raised portions superimposedly formed over the plurality of first raised portions, a two-dimensional size of the plurality of second raised portions is smaller than the two-dimensional size of the plurality of first raised portions and does not exceed 100 nm, and the plurality of first raised portions include a first raised portion that has two or more of the second raised portions.

13 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 12 , wherein the plurality of second raised portions include a conical portion.

14 . The synthetic polymer film of claim 12 , wherein a height of the plurality of second raised portions is more than 20 nm and not more than 100 nm.
