Receptacle for explosives
Abstract
The present utility model relates to a container or receptacle for containing a mixture, preferably pentolite, used to initiate a blasting process. Said container comprises at least one lower part intended to contain the mixture of explosive material, and an upper part or cover intended to maintain the structural unity of the container and prevent the mixture from leaving of the container, wherein said lower part comprises an elongated hollow structure with a base, and a duct or pin inside the same, which extends from the base of the lower part of the container to a defined distance of the upper end of the lower part, wherein the duct or pin is opened at both ends, and wherein the cover of the container comprises an opening, which is supplemented by the upper part of the opened duct or pin, and comprises at least one opening, from which a respective duct or pin extends towards the lower part of the cover, where said duct or pin is closed in the lower part thereof.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A container or receptacle for containing a mixture, preferably pentolite, used to initiate a blasting process, CHARACTERIZED in that said container comprises at least one lower part intended to contain the mixture of explosive material, and an upper part or cover intended to maintain the structural unity of the container and prevent the mixture from leaving of the container, wherein said lower part comprises an elongated hollow structure with a base, and a duct or pin inside the same, which extends from the base of the lower part of the container to a defined distance of the upper end of the lower part, wherein the duct or pin is opened at both ends, and wherein the cover of the container comprises an opening, which is supplemented by the upper part of the opened duct or pin, and comprises at least one opening, from which a respective duct or pin extends towards the lower part of the cover, where said duct or pin is closed in the lower part thereof.
2 . The container or receptacle according to claim 1 , CHARACTERIZED in that the cross section of the lower part is preferably circular.
3 . The container or receptacle according to claim 2 , CHARACTERIZED in that the lower part shows a cylindrical geometry.
4 . The container or receptacle according to claim 2 , CHARACTERIZED in that the lower part shows a conical geometry, tapering to the base of the lower part of the container.
5 . The container or receptacle according to claim 1 , CHARACTERIZED in that the opened duct or pin is preferably cylindrical.
6 . The container or receptacle according to claim 5 , CHARACTERIZED in that the opened duct or pin is reinforced to the base of the lower part of the container by a plurality of reinforcing parts.
7 . The container or receptacle according to claim 1 , CHARACTERIZED in that the opened duct or pin is placed in an eccentric position regarding the section of the lower part of the container.
8 . The container or receptacle according to claim 1 , CHARACTERIZED in that in the upper part of the lower part of the container, particularly on the inner surface, at least two stops are provided.
9 . The container or receptacle according to claim 1 , CHARACTERIZED in that each closed duct or pin is smaller in diameter than its respective opening, thus generating a conical section between the respective opening and its respective duct or pin.
10 . The container or receptacle according to claim 1 , CHARACTERIZED in that the cover on its the upper part comprises at least a pair of hollows in its diameter, that allow closing the cover with the lower part of the container.
11 . The container or receptacle according to claim 9 , CHARACTERIZED in that a safety device is provided, which is fastened in the conical section by a fastening countercone and a fastening rod.
12 . The container or receptacle according to claim 11 , CHARACTERIZED in that the safety device comprises a grooved opening.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
