Cloth Pressing Device Of A Sewing Machine

Abstract

A cloth pressing device of a sewing machine has a presser leg and a presser foot. The presser leg is a hollow cylinder and has a combining portion and a sleeve portion. The sleeve portion is integrated with a bottom portion of the combining portion. The presser foot is mounted around and fixed with a bottom portion of the presser leg. The presser foot has a surrounding portion and a pressing portion. The surrounding portion is a U-shaped block and has a front end and two free ends. The pressing portion is formed at the front end of the surrounding portion.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A cloth pressing device of a sewing machine comprising:
 a presser leg being a hollow cylinder; and   a presser foot detachably mounted at a bottom portion of the presser leg.   
     
     
         2 . The cloth pressing device as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the presser leg has
 a combining portion having
 a combining hole transversely formed through the combining portion; and 
   a sleeve portion integrated with a bottom portion of the combining portion.   
     
     
         3 . The cloth pressing device as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the presser foot has
 a surrounding portion being a U-shaped block and having
 a front end; 
 two free ends; 
 a through hole vertically formed through the surrounding portion and between the front end and the two free ends; and 
 a fastening hole transversely formed through the two free ends; and 
   a pressing portion formed at the front end of the surrounding portion.   
     
     
         4 . The cloth pressing device as claimed in  claim 3 , wherein the pressing portion has
 a connecting section formed at the front end of the surrounding portion and being an oblique block; and   a model block formed at a bottom portion of the connecting section.   
     
     
         5 . The cloth pressing device as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the model block is a circular ring and has a recess formed in a top surface of the model block. 
     
     
         6 . The cloth pressing device as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the model block is a circular ring and has a positioning hole vertically formed through the model block and away from the connecting section. 
     
     
         7 . The cloth pressing device as claimed in  claim 4 , wherein the model block is a semicircular sphere and has a receiving hole vertically formed through a top surface of the model block.
