Abstract

A dart for a blowgun is provided with a hollow main shaft; a head releasably secured to a front end of the hollow main shaft; and a stabilizer formed with a rear portion of the hollow main shaft and including a plurality of flexible latches and a plurality of gaps each disposed between two adjacent flexible latches. The latches may expand or contract to be in a minimum friction contact with an inner wall of a blowgun in a launching operation.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A dart for a blowgun, comprising:
 a hollow main shaft;   a head releasably secured to a front end of the hollow main shaft; and   a stabilizer formed with a rear portion of the hollow main shaft and including a plurality of flexible latches and a plurality of gaps each disposed between two adjacent flexible latches.   
     
     
         2 . The dart for a blowgun of  claim 1 , wherein the hollow main shaft has a predetermined length. 
     
     
         3 . The dart for a blowgun of  claim 1 , wherein the number of the flexible latches is more than three, and the number of the gaps is more than three.
