Disposable hygienic article and use thereof

Abstract

The present invention relates to an article which provides hygienic protection to an individual when using public toilets. The article in question is foldable and can be conveniently carried by the individual. In addition, the article in question is applied to the individual and not to the toilet seat.

1 . A disposable hygienic article for isolating the skin of a subject from a contaminated surface comprising:
 a. a two-sided article, wherein one side consists of the surface which affixes to said skin of a subject, and the second side consists of the surface which comes in contact with said contaminated surface, and
 wherein said article extends from said back of said subject, to completely cover the backside of said subject, wherein said backside extends from the back of said subject to the upper part of the thighs and splits at the upper part of the thighs into two parallel lengths which extend along the back of the legs of the subject; and 
   b. a means for affixing said article to said backside of said subject.   
     
     
         2 . The hygienic article of  claim 1  wherein said means for affixing said article to the backside of said subject consists of one or more adhesive tabs. 
     
     
         3 . The hygienic article of  claim 2  wherein said adhesive tabs is composed of hypoallergenic material. 
     
     
         4 . The hygienic article of  claim 1  wherein said surface which comes in contact with said contaminated surface is composed of non-absorbent material. 
     
     
         5 . The hygienic article of  claim 4  wherein said non-absorbent material is water repellant.
