Abstract

The present invention relates to novel compositions comprising proteolytic enzymes and fining agents as well as methods for the treatment and/or prevention of cancer using these compositions.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A composition for treating cancer comprising
an effective amount of composition comprising two or more proteolytic enzymes selected from the group consisting of bromelain, ginger protease (GP), zingipain, papain, actinidain, chymopaypain, and ficain and one fining agent selected from the group consisting of isinglass (ichtoyocolle), kieselsol, albumen, chitosan, sodium alginate, bentonite, or diatomaceous earth for treating cancer.

2 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the at least two proteolytic enzymes are from kiwi, Kiwiberry, turmeric, papaya, banana+peel, mango, Turmeric+ginger, pineapple, Chinese gooseberry and figs.

3 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the composition is in an oral dosage form.

4 . The composition of claim 1 wherein the composition is in a topical form.

5 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the composition is administered in combination with pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, excipients or diluents

6 . The composition of claim 1 , wherein the cancer is one of the following colon cancer, uterine cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, bone cancer, and prostate cancer.

7 . A method for treating cancer comprising
Administering to a cancer patient an effective amount of a composition comprising two or more proteolytic enzymes selected from the group consisting of bromelain, ginger protease (GP), zingipain, actinidain, papain, chymopaypain, and ficain and one fining agent selected from the group consisting of isinglass (ichtoyocolle), kieselsol, albumen, chitosan, sodium alginate, bentonite, or diatomaceous earth for treating cancer. The method of claim 6 , wherein the at least two proteolytic enzyme is from kiwi, Kiwiberry, turmeric, papaya, banana+peel, mango, Turmeric and ginger, figs, pineapple and Chinese Gooseberry.

8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is administered orally.

9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is in a topical form.

10 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is administered in combination with pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, excipients or diluents.

11 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the cancer is selected from colon cancer, uterine cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, bone cancer, and prostate cancer.

12 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is in an intravenous dosage form.

13 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is administered twice a day.

14 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the composition is administered at least once a day.
