Abstract
A raincoat is provided having a unitary main body and complementary magnets constructed and arranged to close the raincoat.

1 . A raincoat comprising:
a unitary main body; said unitary main body having opposing terminal portions being a first front portion and a second front portion; a pair of opposing magnets associated with each of said first front portion and said second front portion, said magnets congruently positioned in order to provide a magnetic closure of the article when said magnets are engaged
2 . The raincoat of claim 1 where each of said magnets are circular.
3 . The raincoat of claim 1 where each of said magnets are rectangular.
4 . The raincoat of claim 1 where each of said magnets are rectangular and extends along terminal edges of each of said first front portion and said second front portion a distance of between 2-75% of each terminal edge.
5 . The raincoat of claim 1 where each of said magnets are rectangular and extends along terminal edges of each of said first front portion and said second front portion a distance of between 2-50% of each terminal edge.
6 . The raincoat of claim 1 where each of said magnets are rectangular and extends along terminal edges of each of said first front portion and said second front portion a distance of between 2-29% of each terminal edge.
