Abstract

Using various embodiments, methods, and systems for implementing three-dimensional geospatial visualization techniques are disclosed. In one embodiment, a unified indoor/outdoor three-dimensional visualization of interior and exterior settings can be provided using a publically accessible geospatial website. The geospatial website can provide global positioning system coordinated point cloud data of actual exterior settings along with fantasized or actual interior settings to a client machine along with information of events occurring at the location in real time.

         21 . A system comprising:
 a memory module;   a processing subsystem coupled to the memory module, the processing subsystem configured to:   receive a request to transmit a three-dimensional (3D) geospatial point cloud data for a geographical location;
 determine real-time events occurring at the geographical location;
 transmit the geospatial point cloud data related along with information related to the real-time events;
 wherein the geospatial point cloud data provides a realistic representation of the geographical location.

         22 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the geospatial point cloud data is a set of data points in a 3D coordinate system that represents external surfaces of at least one of a geospatial object or a non-geospatial object.

         23 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the geospatial object further includes at least one of a building, physical structure, or street.

         24 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the non-geospatial object includes at least one of an article within a a vehicle, street sign, or street lighting.

         25 . The system of claim 21 , wherein rendering of the geospatial point cloud data displays a real-time video stream of the geographical location, wherein a camera is physically located at the geographical location.

         26 . The system of claim 21 , wherein a rendition of a fanaticized geospatial object is transmitted within the geospatial point cloud data.

         27 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the geospatial point cloud data can be rendered with different levels of detail.

         28 . A method, comprising:
 receiving, by a computer system, a request to transmit a three-dimensional (3D) geospatial point cloud data for a geographical location;   determining real-time events occurring at the geographical location; and   transmitting the geospatial point cloud data related along with information related to the real-time events;
       wherein the geospatial point cloud data provides a realistic representation of the geographical location.

         29 . The method of claim 28 , wherein the geospatial point cloud data is a set of data points in a 3D coordinate system that represents external surfaces of at least one of a geospatial object or a non-geospatial object.

         30 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the geospatial object further includes at least one of a building, physical structure, or street.

         31 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the non-geospatial object includes at least one of an article within a a vehicle, street sign, or street lighting.

         32 . The method of claim 28 , wherein rendering of the geospatial point cloud data displays a real-time video stream of the geographical location, wherein a camera is physically located at the geographical location.

         33 . The method of claim 28 , wherein a rendition of a fanaticized geospatial object is transmitted within the geospatial point cloud data.

         34 . The method of claim 28 , wherein the geospatial point cloud data can be rendered with different levels of detail.

         35 . A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions which when executed by a processor having at least one core implements a method, comprising:
 receiving a request to transmit a three-dimensional (3D) geospatial point cloud data for a geographical location;   determining real-time events occurring at the geographical location; and   transmitting the geospatial point cloud data related along with information related to the real-time events;
       wherein the geospatial point cloud data provides a realistic representation of the geographical location.

         36 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the geospatial point cloud data is a set of data points in a 3D coordinate system that represents external surfaces of at least one of a geospatial object or a non-geospatial object.

         37 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 36 , wherein the geospatial object further includes at least one of a building, physical structure, or street.

         38 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 36 , wherein the non-geospatial object includes at least one of an article within a vehicle, street sign, or street lighting.

         39 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 35 , wherein rendering of the geospatial point cloud data displays a real-time video stream of the geographical location, wherein a camera is physically located at the geographical location.

         40 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 35 , wherein a rendition of a fanaticized geospatial object is transmitted within the geospatial point cloud data and wherein the geospatial point cloud data can be rendered with different levels of detail.
