Abstract

A stop collar assembly includes an inner sleeve and two end rings. The stop collar assembly is received over a tubular member and is securely attached thereto by slidingly advancing the two end rings toward each other over the inner sleeve and applying a compression force on the exterior of the inner sleeve.

         1 . A stop collar assembly, comprising:
 a inner sleeve; and   a first end ring being slidingly receivable over the inner sleeve,   the inner sleeve and first end ring being appropriately sized so as cause the first end ring to apply a compression force on the inner sleeve when the first ring is received over the inner sleeve.
