Abstract

A module for use in the erection of buildings in modular construction has a parallelepiped-shaped basic design and has outer walls, a floor, and a ceiling, with the supporting components of some, and preferably all, of the outer walls being cross laminated timber boards. The module includes a useful area and at least two separate vertical ducts, with both vertical ducts running through the module from bottom to top and each being included between at least one outer wall and at least one duct wall.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A module for use in the erection of buildings in modular construction, wherein the module has a parallelepiped-shaped basic design and has outer walls, a floor, and a ceiling, with the supporting components of some, and preferably all, of the outer walls being cross laminated timber boards, wherein
the module includes a useful area and at least two separate vertical ducts, with both vertical ducts running through the module from bottom to top and each being included between at least one outer wall and at least one duct wall.

2 . The module in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the duct is completely surrounded by the duct walls and the outer walls laterally over the total height of the module.

3 . The module in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the at least two vertical ducts are arranged along the inner side of one, and optionally the same, outer wall, with provision preferably being made that the vertical duct or ducts is/are arranged in a plant room that is separated from the useful area by a partition wall.

4 . The module in accordance with claim 1 , wherein a plurality of risers for receiving different fluids are installed in one of the vertical ducts; and/or wherein a plurality of ductworks for receiving cables are provided in one, preferably in the other, of the vertical ducts.

5 . The module in accordance with claim 4 , wherein the module comprises a compact station or a metering station to which at least some of the risers are connected.

6 . The module in accordance with claim 4 , wherein the ductworks are fixed in the vertical duct such that they can be displaced vertically downwardly from a defined starting position up to and into an end position and/or wherein the ductworks are socket pipes.

7 . The module in accordance with claim 4 , wherein the module has cabling having one or a plurality of cables in that vertical duct in which the ductworks are arranged, with the cables each having a free end and a bound end, and with the bound ends of the cables being already connected to the module.

8 . The module in accordance with claim 7 , wherein the module comprises an electrical sub-distributor to which the bound ends of at least some of the cables are connected.

9 . The module in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the supporting cross laminated timber boards of the outer walls, of the ceiling and/or of the floor are lined and/or coated at least over a partial area.

10 . The module in accordance with claim 1 , wherein the useful region is at least partly formed by a wet room.
