Abstract

A body covering garment for use after water exposure includes a shell that is substantially complementary to a body of a user. A slit is positioned in a front of the shell and is configured to insert the body of the user into the shell. The slit extends from proximate to a waistline to a neckline of the shell. An aperture that is positioned in the shell extends from the front to a back of the shell between legs of the shell. The aperture is configured to allow urination and defecation by the user. A panel that is complementary to the aperture is selectively couplable to the shell to close the aperture. A hood is coupled to and extends from the neckline. The hood is configured to position over the head of the user such that a face of the user is substantially exposed.

2 . The garment of claim 1 , further including said shell comprising cloth such that said shell is water absorbent.

3 . The garment of claim 2 , further including said shell comprising terrycloth.

4 . The garment of claim 1 , further including said shell defining a pair of sleeves, each said sleeve being flared adjacent to a cuff of said sleeve.

5 . The garment of claim 1 , further including said shell defining a pair of pockets, each said pocket being configured for inserting a respective foot of the user, said pockets being padded.

6 . The garment of claim 5 , further including a pair of grips, each said grip being coupled to a bottom surface of a respective said pocket, wherein said grips are positioned on said shell such that said grips are configured for deterring slippage of the feet of the user.

7 . The garment of claim 1 , further including a pair of flaps, each said flap being coupled to and extending from a respective opposing edge of said slit, wherein said flaps are positioned on said shell such that said flaps are configured for overlapping for closing said slit.

8 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first coupler coupled to said shell proximate to said aperture; a second coupler coupled to a perimeter of said panel, said second coupler being complementary to said first coupler; and wherein said second coupler is positioned on said panel such that said second coupler is positioned for selectively coupling to said first coupler for coupling said panel to said shell for closing said aperture.

9 . The garment of claim 8 , further including said first coupler and said second coupler comprising a zipper.

10 . The garment of claim 1 , further including said hood being volumetrically larger than the head of the user such that said hood is configured for positioning hair of the user.

         11 . (canceled)

12 . The garment of claim 1 , further comprising:
a plurality of loops coupled to said shell proximate to said waistline, said loops being substantially evenly spaced along said waistline; a belt positioned through said loops; and wherein said belt is positioned though said loops such that said belt is configured for tightening and knotting for securing said shell to a waist of the user.

         13 . A body covering garment comprising:
