the first control signal detector is configured to analyze pictures taken by a camera, and the first control signal is a set of pictures of the viewer captured by the camera and recognized by the first control signal detector as a gesture.

         6 . The apparatus of claim 5 , wherein
the second control signal detector is configured to analyze an audio signal from a microphone, and the second control signal is the audio signal.

         7 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein
the first control signal detector is one of a control signal receiver receiving a control signal from a remote control, an image recognition circuitry analyzing pictures from a camera, and a voice recognition circuitry analyzing audio signals form a microphone, and a screen touch detector; and the second control signal detection is another one of the control signal receiver, the image recognition circuitry, and the voice recognition circuitry, and the screen touch detector.

         8 . A method comprising:
receiving distance information from a distance sensor to generate a distance to a viewer; selecting one of a first control signal from a first input source and a second control signal from a second input source according to the generated distance, the first and second input sources being utilized by the viewer; and performing an operation on an operation object displayed on a screen responsive to the selected control signal; wherein if the generated distance is a first distance, the first control signal is selected and if the generated distance is a second distance, the second control signal is selected, the second distance being different from the first distance.

9 . The method of claim 8 , further comprising
detecting, by a first control signal detector, the first control signal; and detecting, by a second control signal detector, the second control signal.

         10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein
the selecting one of the first and second control signals includes turning on one of the first and second control signal detectors, corresponding to the selected one of the first and second control signals.

         11 . The method of claim 9 , wherein
the first control signal detector is configured to analyze pictures taken by a camera, and the first control signal is a set of pictures of the viewer captured by the camera and recognized by the first control signal detector as a gesture.

         12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein
the second control signal detector is configured to analyze an audio signal from a microphone, and the second control signal is the audio signal.

         13 . The method of claim 9 , wherein
