Abstract

A garment for shaping the midsection of a user includes an upper section, a floating or movable inner panel middle section, and a lower section. The floating panel middle section shapes the body and can include one or more of compressive, shaping and/or non-compressive materials.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A shapewear garment for slenderizing the midsection of a user and shaping the waistline of the user, the garment comprising:
 an exterior garment including at least a first material and having first and second side sections; and   a movable panel section including a shaping material configured to shape the waistline of the user, wherein said movable panel section disposed in the interior of said exterior garment and vertically connected to the first and second side sections of said exterior garment allowing upper and lower sections of said movable panel to be movable and allowing said movable panel section to be positionable by the user.   
     
     
         2 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , wherein the garment has a tank top shape. 
     
     
         3 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , further comprising a built in shelf bra. 
     
     
         4 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , whether in the tank top shape is at least one of a halter top and racer backs. 
     
     
         5 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , wherein the upper section further comprises one or more adjustable straps. 
     
     
         6 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , wherein the garment is a legging or pants. 
     
     
         7 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , wherein the movable panel comprises a one piece garment connected to the first and second side sections. 
     
     
         8 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , wherein the movable panel comprises separate front and back sections that are connected to the first and second side sections. 
     
     
         9 . The shapewear garment of  claim 8 , wherein the front section of the movable panel comprises a waist line length that is smaller than an upper bust length and the bust length is smaller than a lower sweep or hem length. 
     
     
         10 . The shapewear garment of  claim 9 , wherein an upper area of the movable panel is inwardly curved, the lower hem length is straight and a side area around the waist line is inwardly curved. 
     
     
         11 . The shapewear garment of  claim 10 , wherein the exterior garment comprises a first shaping material and the movable panel comprises a second shaping material different from the first shaping material, 
     
     
         12 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , wherein the movable panel section comprises the shaping material in a front portion of the garment and a third material in a back portion of the garment. 
     
     
         13 . The shapewear garment of  claim 1 , wherein one or more of the materials comprise one or more of cotton, sleek yarn, nylon, Spandex, Elasthanne, tactel, wool, polyester, viscose, linen or any combination thereof. 
     
     
         14 . A shapewear garment for slenderizing the midsection of a user, shaping the waistline of the user, and minimizing the roll up of the garment over the abdomen area of the user, the garment comprising:
 an upper section including a first material;   a floating panel middle section including a shaping material, where the shaping material shapes the waistline of the user;   a lower section including a second material, where the lower section inhibits the roll up of the garment over the abdomen area of the user; and   a third material connected to at least a portion of the floating panel middle section, and covering the floating panel middle section.   
     
     
         15 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the floating panel middle section comprises the shaping material in a front portion of the garment and a third material in a back portion of the garment. 
     
     
         16 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , further comprising a third material covering at least a portion of the floating panel middle section, hiding at least a portion of the floating panel middle section. 
     
     
         17 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the third material covers all of the floating panel middle section. 
     
     
         18 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the floating panel middle section substantially fully encompasses the abdominal area of the user. 
     
     
         19 . The shapewear garment of  claim 18 , wherein the upper section has a tank top shape. 
     
     
         20 . The shapewear garment of  claim 19 , wherein the tank top shape is a body contouring shaper tank top. 
     
     
         21 . The shapewear garment of  claim 20 , further comprising a built in shelf bra. 
     
     
         22 . The shapewear garment of  claim 19 , wherein the tank top shape is at least one of a halter top and racer back. 
     
     
         23 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the lower section is designed to be exposed for viewing. 
     
     
         24 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the lower section is designed to be tucked into other clothes that cover a bottom portion of the user. 
     
     
         25 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the upper section further comprises one or more adjustable straps. 
     
     
         26 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the upper section further comprises an inner shelf bra. 
     
     
         27 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the slenderizing middle section comprises a firm control microfiber. 
     
     
         28 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the floating panel middle section comprises at least one of micro denier fabric and Spandex. 
     
     
         29 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the shape of the floating panel middle section is band-like. 
     
     
         30 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein one or more of the materials comprise one or more of cotton, sleek yarn, wool, polyester, viscose, and linen. 
     
     
         31 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the first material is the same material as the second material. 
     
     
         32 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the upper section has a tank top shape. 
     
     
         33 . The shapewear garment of  claim 32 , wherein the tank top shape is at least one of a halter top and a racer back. 
     
     
         34 . The shapewear garment of  claim 14 , wherein the floating panel middle section is substantially sized to conform or follow the upper section and the third material. 
     
     
         35 . A shapewear garment for slenderizing the midsection of a user, shaping the waistline of the user, and minimizing the roll up of the garment over the abdomen area of the user, the garment comprising:
 an exterior garment including at least a first material and having and having front, back, left and right sides;   a first movable panel including a second material and having first top, bottom, left and right sides and disposed in the interior of said exterior garment; and   a second movable panel including the second material and having second top, bottom, left and right sides and disposed in the interior of said exterior garment, wherein the first right side of the first movable panel is configured to be attached to the right side of the exterior garment and the first left side of the first movable panel is configured to be removably attached to the left side of the exterior garment, and wherein the second right side of the second movable panel is configured to be attached to the right side of the exterior garment and the second left side of the second movable panel is configured to be removably attached to the left side of the exterior garment.   
     
     
         36 . The shapewear garment of  claim 35 , wherein the first movable panel corresponds to the front side of the exterior garment, and wherein the second movable panel corresponds to the back side of the exterior garment, and wherein the first and second movable panels are configured to be sized substantially the same as the area of the exterior garment. 
     
     
         37 . The shapewear garment of  claim 35 , wherein the first movable panel corresponds to the front side of the exterior garment, and wherein the second movable panel corresponds to the front side of the exterior garment. 
     
     
         38 . The shapewear garment of  claim 35 , wherein the first movable panel corresponds to the back side of the exterior garment, and wherein the second movable panel corresponds to the back side of the exterior garment. 
     
     
         39 . The shapewear garment of  claim 35 , wherein the garment is a tank. 
     
     
         40 . The shapewear garment of  claim 35 , wherein the garment is a legging or pants.
