Scissor Comb Assembly
Abstract
A scissor comb assembly includes a first arm is that is selectively manipulated. A plurality of first prongs is provided and each of the first prongs is coupled to the first arm to engage hair in the convention of a comb. A second arm is pivotally coupled to the first arm wherein the second arm is selectively manipulated. The second arm is selectively urged into a first position having the second arm being oriented co-linear with the first arm. The second arm is selectively urged into a second position having the second arm being oriented at an angle with the first arm. A plurality of second prongs is provided and each of the second prongs is coupled to the second arm to engage hair in the convention of a comb.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A scissor comb assembly being configured to grip hair thereby facilitating the hair to be trimmed, said assembly comprising:
a first arm being configured to be manipulated; a plurality of first prongs, each of said first prongs being coupled to said first arm wherein each of said first prongs is configured to engage hair; a second arm being pivotally coupled to said first arm wherein said second arm is configured to be manipulated, said second arm being selectively urged into a first position having said second arm being oriented co-linear with said first arm, said second arm being selectively urged into a second position having said second arm being oriented at an angle with said first arm; and a plurality of second prongs, each of said second prongs being coupled to said second arm wherein each of said second prongs is configured to engage hair.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said first arm has a first end and a second end, said first arm having a first bend thereon to define a first half of said first arm forming an angle with respect to a second half of said first arm, said first bend being centrally positioned on said first arm, said second end being rounded.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said first arm has a first aperture extending therethrough wherein said first aperture is configured to insertably receive a finger on hand, said first aperture being aligned with said second end, said first half of said first arm having a first surface.
4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein each of said first prongs is positioned on said first surface of said first half of said first arm, said first prongs being spaced apart from each other and being distributed along the entire length of said first half of said first arm.
5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said second arm has a primary end and a secondary end, said second arm having a second bend thereon to define a primary portion of said second arm forming an angle with respect to a secondary portion of said second arm, that second bend being positioned closer to said primary end than said secondary end, said secondary end being rounded.
6 . The assembly according to claim 5 , wherein said second arm has a second aperture extending therethrough wherein said second aperture is configured to insertably receive a finger on hand, said second aperture being aligned with said secondary end, said secondary portion of said second arm having a primary surface.
7 . The assembly according to claim 6 , wherein each of said second prongs is positioned on said primary surface of said secondary portion of said second arm, said second prongs being spaced apart from each other and being distributed on said secondary portion.
8 . The assembly according to claim 1 , further comprising a pin extending through each of said first arm and said second arm such that said second arm is pivotally coupled to said first arm, said pin extending through a secondary portion of said second arm and a second half of said first arm.
9 . A scissor comb assembly being configured to grip hair thereby facilitating the hair to be trimmed, said assembly comprising:
a first arm being configured to be manipulated, said first arm having a first end and a second end, said first arm having a first bend thereon to define a first half of said first arm forming an angle with respect to a second half of said first arm, said first bend being centrally positioned on said first arm, said second end being rounded, said first arm having a first aperture extending therethrough wherein said first aperture is configured to insertably receive a finger on hand, said first aperture being aligned with said second end, said first half of said first arm having a first surface; a plurality of first prongs, each of said first prongs being coupled to said first arm wherein each of said first prongs is configured to engage hair, each of said first prongs being positioned on said first surface of said first half of said first arm, said first prongs being spaced apart from each other and being distributed along an entire length of said first half of said first arm; a second arm being pivotally coupled to said first arm wherein said second arm is configured to be manipulated, said second arm being selectively urged into a first position having said second arm being oriented co-linear with said first arm, said second arm being selectively urged into a second position having said second arm being oriented at an angle with said first arm, said second arm having a primary end and a secondary end, said second arm having a second bend thereon to define a primary portion of said second arm forming an angle with respect to a secondary portion of said second arm, that second bend being positioned closer to said primary end than said secondary end, said secondary end being rounded, said second arm having a second aperture extending therethrough wherein said second aperture is configured to insertably receive a finger on hand, said second aperture being aligned with said secondary end, said secondary portion of said second arm having a primary surface; a plurality of second prongs, each of said second prongs being coupled to said second arm wherein each of said second prongs is configured to engage hair, each of said second prongs being positioned on said primary surface of said secondary portion of said second arm, said second prongs being spaced apart from each other and being distributed on said secondary portion, each of said second prongs being positioned between associated ones of said first prongs when said second arm is positioned in said first position; and a pin extending through each of said first arm and said second arm such that said second arm is pivotally coupled to said first arm, said pin extending through said secondary portion of said second arm and said second half of said first arm.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
