2-(2,4,5-substituted-anilino)pyrimidine compounds
Abstract
The present invention relates to certain 2-(2,4,5-substituted-anilino)pyrimidine compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof which may be useful in the treatment or prevention of a disease or medical condition mediated through certain mutated forms of epidermal growth factor receptor (for example the L858R activating mutant, the Exon19 deletion activating mutant and the T790M resistance mutant). Such compounds and salts thereof may be useful in the treatment or prevention of a number of different cancers. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising said compounds and salts thereof, especially useful polymorphic forms of these compounds and salts, intermediates useful in the manufacture of said compounds and to methods of treatment of diseases mediated by various different forms of EGFR using said compounds and salts thereof.

17 . A polymorphic Form B of a mesylate salt of N-(2-{2-dimethylaminoethyl-methylamino}-4-methoxy-5-{[4-(1-methylindol-3-yl)pyrimidin-2-yl]amino}phenyl)prop-2-enamide.
18 . The polymorphic Form B as claimed in claim 17 , comprising an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with at least one specific peak at 2-theta=7.2°, plus or minus 0.2° 2-theta, measured using CuKa radiation.
19 . The polymorphic Form B as claimed in claim 17 , comprising an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with at least one specific peak at 2-theta=8.6°, plus or minus 0.2° 2-theta, measured using CuKa radiation.
20 . The polymorphic Form B as claimed in claim 17 , comprising an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with at least two specific peaks at 2-theta=7.2° and 8.6°, where said values may be plus or minus 0.2° 2-theta, measured using CuKa radiation.
21 . The polymorphic Form B as claimed in claim 17 , comprising has an X-ray powder diffraction pattern with specific peaks at 2-theta=7.2, 8.6, 15.3, 10.4, 25.7, 26.1, 16.4, 9.5, 22.1 and 18.80 wherein said values may be plus or minus 0.2° 2-theta, measured using CuKa radiation.
22 . A polymorphic Form B of the mesylate salt of N-(2-{2-dimethylaminoethyl-methylamino}-4-methoxy-5-{[4-(1-methylindol-3-yl)pyrimidin-2-yl]amino}phenyl)prop-2-enamide, which has an X-ray powder diffraction pattern substantially the same as the X-ray diffraction pattern shown in FIG. 20 when measured using CuKa radiation.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
