Abstract
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a method involves obtaining, by a body-mountable device, sensor data, where the body-mountable device includes a data storage. The method further involves making a determination that each condition in a condition set has been satisfied. In addition, the method involves responsive to making the determination that each condition in the condition set has been satisfied, storing the obtained sensor data in the data storage.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method comprising:
obtaining, by a body-mountable device, sensor data, wherein the body-mountable device comprises a volatile data storage and a non-volatile data storage; responsive to making a first determination that each condition in a first condition set has been satisfied, storing the obtained sensor data in the volatile data storage, the first condition set comprising a first plurality of conditions; and responsive to making a second determination that each condition in a second condition set has been satisfied, copying the obtained sensor data from the volatile data storage to the non-volatile data storage.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second condition set comprises a volatile data storage threshold and a non-volatile data storage threshold, and wherein the second determination is based on:
a volatile data storage usage exceeding the volatile data storage threshold, and a non-volatile data storage availability exceeding the non-volatile data storage threshold.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensor data is obtained from a sensor of the body-mountable device.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the sensor data comprises an analyte concentration.
5 . A method comprising:
obtaining, by a body-mountable device, sensor data, wherein the body-mountable device comprises a data storage; making a determination that each condition in a condition set has been satisfied, the condition set comprising a plurality of conditions, wherein:
a first condition of the condition set comprises a sensor data condition, and
a second condition of the condition set comprises data storage condition; and
responsive to making the determination that each condition in the condition set has been satisfied, storing the obtained sensor data in the data storage.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein a third condition of the condition set comprises a power supply condition.
7 . The method of claim 5 , wherein a third condition of the condition set comprises a data transmission condition.
8 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the condition set is a first condition set, the data storage is a volatile data storage, and further comprising:
responsive to making a second determination that each condition in a second condition set has been satisfied, copying the stored sensor data from the volatile data storage to a non-volatile data storage.
9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the second condition set comprises a volatile data storage threshold and a non-volatile data storage threshold, and wherein the second determination is based on:
a volatile data storage usage exceeding the volatile data storage threshold, and a non-volatile data storage availability exceeding the non-volatile data storage threshold.
10 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the sensor data is obtained from a sensor of the body-mountable device.
11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein the sensor data comprises an analyte concentration.
12 . A body-mountable device comprising:
a sensor; a volatile data storage; a non-volatile data storage; a power source; a processor; and a computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon processor-executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the body-mountable device to:
obtain sensor data from the sensor;
responsive to a first determination that each condition in a first condition set has been satisfied, store the obtained sensor data in the volatile data storage, the first condition set comprising a first plurality of conditions; and
responsive to a second determination that each condition in a second condition set has been satisfied, copy the obtained sensor data from the volatile data storage to the non-volatile data storage.
13 . The body-mountable device of claim 12 , wherein the second condition set comprises a volatile data storage threshold and a non-volatile data storage threshold, and wherein the second determination is based on:
a volatile data storage usage exceeding the volatile data storage threshold, and a non-volatile data storage availability exceeding the non-volatile data storage threshold.
14 . The body-mountable device of claim 12 , wherein the sensor data comprises an analyte concentration.
15 . A body-mountable device comprising:
a sensor; a data storage; a power source; a processor; and a computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon processor-executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the body-mountable device to:
obtain sensor data the sensor;
determine that each condition in a condition set has been satisfied, the condition set comprising a plurality of conditions, wherein:
a first condition of the condition set comprises a sensor data condition, and
a second condition of the condition set comprises data storage condition; and
responsive to a determination that each condition in the condition set has been satisfied, store the obtained sensor data in the data storage.
16 . The body-mountable device of claim 15 , wherein a third condition of the condition set comprises a power supply condition.
17 . The body-mountable device of claim 15 , wherein a third condition of the condition set comprises a data transmission condition.
18 . The body-mountable device of claim 15 , wherein the condition set is a first condition set, the data storage is a volatile data storage, and wherein body-mountable device further comprises a non-volatile data storage, and wherein the data storage further comprises processor-executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the body-mountable device to, responsive to a second determination that each condition in a second condition set has been satisfied, copy the obtained sensor data from the volatile data storage to the non-volatile data storage.
19 . The body-mountable device of claim 18 , wherein the second condition set comprises a volatile data storage threshold and a non-volatile data storage threshold, and wherein the second determination is based on:
a volatile data storage usage exceeding the volatile data storage threshold, and a non-volatile data storage availability exceeding the non-volatile data storage threshold.
20 . The body-mountable device of claim 15 , wherein the sensor data comprises an analyte concentration.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
