Claims

Abstract

A ceiling fan including a motor, an intermediate transition member and a plurality of blades is disclosed. The motor includes a stator, a rotor, and a shaft coupled with the stator. An outer face of the motor includes a plurality of heat dissipating holes. The intermediate transition member is coupled with the motor and includes a body and a plurality of first coupling portions integrally formed with the body. The body includes a central hole at a center thereof The shaft extends through the central hole. The plurality of first coupling portions extends radially away from the shaft. The plurality of blades is coupled with the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A ceiling fan comprising:
 a motor including a stator, a rotor, and a shaft coupled with the stator, wherein an outer face of the motor includes a plurality of heat dissipating holes;   an intermediate transition member coupled with the motor and including a body and a plurality of first coupling portions integrally formed with the body, wherein the body includes a central hole at a center thereof, wherein the shaft extends through the central hole, wherein the plurality of first coupling portions extends away from the shaft in a radial plane perpendicular to an axis of the shaft, wherein an outer diameter of the body of the intermediate transition member is smaller than an outer diameter of a top of the motor, and wherein the body of the intermediate transition member is coupled with the top of the motor; and   a plurality of blades coupled with the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member.   
     
     
         2 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein connecting portions between the plurality of blades and the intermediate transition member are located outside of the outer diameter of the top of the motor. 
     
     
         3 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member extends beyond the outer diameter of the top of the motor in the radial plane perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. 
     
     
         4 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of heat dissipating holes is located circumferentially between two adjacent ones of the plurality of first coupling portions in a regular distance to an adjacent one of the plurality of heat dissipating holes. 
     
     
         5 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the intermediate transition member further includes a plurality of first fasteners, wherein the body of the intermediate transition member includes a plurality of first positioning holes, and wherein the plurality of first fasteners respectively extends through the plurality of first positioning holes to fix the body of the intermediate transition member to the motor. 
     
     
         6 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein each of the plurality of blades includes a second coupling portion coupled with a respective one of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member. 
     
     
         7 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 6 , wherein the intermediate transition member further includes a plurality of second fasteners, wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions includes a plurality of second positioning holes, and wherein each of the plurality of second fasteners extends through a respective one of the plurality of second positioning holes to fix the second coupling portion of the each of the plurality of blades to a respective one of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member. 
     
     
         8 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 7 , wherein each of the second coupling portions of the plurality of blades is in a form of a channel, and wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member extends through a respective one of the channels of the plurality of blades. 
     
     
         9 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein each of the channels of the plurality of blades includes two ends intercommunicating with each other. 
     
     
         10 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein a quantity of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member corresponds to a quantity of the plurality of blades. 
     
     
         11 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions extends outward of the body in a radial direction. 
     
     
         12 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions extends outward of the body in a tangential direction. 
     
     
         13 . A ceiling fan comprising:
 a motor including a stator, a rotor, and a shaft coupled with the stator, wherein an outer face of the motor includes a plurality of heat dissipating holes;   an intermediate transition member coupled with the motor and including a body and a plurality of first coupling portions integrally formed with the body, wherein the body includes a central hole at a center thereof, wherein the shaft extends through the central hole, wherein the plurality of first coupling portions extends away from the shaft in a radial plane perpendicular to an axis of the shaft, wherein an outer diameter of the body of the intermediate transition member is smaller than an outer diameter of a bottom of the motor, and wherein the body of the intermediate transition member is coupled with the bottom of the motor; and   a plurality of blades coupled with the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member.   
     
     
         14 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein connecting portions between the plurality of blades and the intermediate transition member are located outside of the outer diameter of the bottom of the motor. 
     
     
         15 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member extends beyond the outer diameter of the bottom of the motor in the radial plane perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. 
     
     
         16 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein each of the plurality of heat dissipating holes is located circumferentially between two adjacent ones of the plurality of first coupling portions in a regular distance to an adjacent one of the plurality of heat dissipating holes. 
     
     
         17 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein the intermediate transition member further includes a plurality of first fasteners, wherein the body of the intermediate transition member includes a plurality of first positioning holes, and wherein the plurality of first fasteners respectively extends through the plurality of first positioning holes to fix the body of the intermediate transition member to the motor. 
     
     
         18 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 17 , wherein each of the plurality of blades includes a second coupling portion coupled with a respective one of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member. 
     
     
         19 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 18 , wherein the intermediate transition member further includes a plurality of second fasteners, wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions includes a plurality of second positioning holes, and wherein each of the plurality of second fasteners extends through a respective one of the plurality of second positioning holes to fix the second coupling portion of the each of the plurality of blades to a respective one of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member. 
     
     
         20 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 19 , wherein each of the second coupling portions of the plurality of blades is in a form of a channel, and wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member extends through a respective one of the channels of the plurality of blades. 
     
     
         21 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 20 , wherein each of the channels of the plurality of blades includes two ends intercommunicating with each other. 
     
     
         22 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein a quantity of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member corresponds to a quantity of the plurality of blades. 
     
     
         23 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions extends outward of the body in a radial direction. 
     
     
         24 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 13 , wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions extends outward of the body in a tangential direction. 
     
     
         25 . A ceiling fan comprising:
 a motor including a stator, a rotor, and a shaft coupled with the stator, wherein an outer face of the motor includes a plurality of heat dissipating holes, and wherein a peripheral wall of the motor includes an annular protruding portion extending radially;   an intermediate transition member coupled with the motor and including a body and a plurality of first coupling portions integrally formed with the body, wherein the body includes a central hole at a center thereof, wherein the plurality of first coupling portions extends away from the shaft in a radial plane perpendicular to an axis of the shaft, wherein a diameter of the central hole of the intermediate transition member is slightly larger than or equal to an outer diameter of the peripheral wall of the motor, and wherein the body of the intermediate transition member is coupled with the annular protruding portion of the motor; and   a plurality of blades coupled with the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member.   
     
     
         26 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 25 , wherein each of the plurality of heat dissipating holes is located circumferentially between two adjacent ones of the plurality of first coupling portions in a regular distance to an adjacent one of the plurality of heat dissipating holes. 
     
     
         27 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 25 , wherein the intermediate transition member further includes a plurality of first fasteners, wherein the body of the intermediate transition member includes a plurality of first positioning holes, and wherein the plurality of first fasteners respectively extends through the plurality of first positioning holes to fix the body of the intermediate transition member to the motor. 
     
     
         28 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 27 , wherein each of the plurality of blades includes a second coupling portion coupled with a respective one of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member. 
     
     
         29 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 28 , wherein the intermediate transition member further includes a plurality of second fasteners, wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions includes a plurality of second positioning holes, and wherein each of the plurality of second fasteners extends through a respective one of the plurality of second positioning holes to fix the second coupling portion of the each of the plurality of blades to a respective one of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member. 
     
     
         30 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 29 , wherein each of the second coupling portions of the plurality of blades is in a form of a channel, and wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member extends through a respective one of the channels of the plurality of blades. 
     
     
         31 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 30 , wherein each of the channels of the plurality of blades includes two ends intercommunicating with each other. 
     
     
         32 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 25 , wherein a quantity of the plurality of first coupling portions of the intermediate transition member corresponds to a quantity of the plurality of blades. 
     
     
         33 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 25 , wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions extends outward of the body in a radial direction. 
     
     
         34 . The ceiling fan as claimed in  claim 25 , wherein each of the plurality of first coupling portions extends outward of the body in a tangential direction.
