Abstract

An air treatment apparatus and method are disclosed in the present invention, wherein, at least one air treatment unit is included. The air treatment device has at least one of the following components: component for air purification and filtering, blow-through fan, draw-through fan, pump, component for heating, component for dehumidifying, component for humidifying, component for air-cooling. The air treatment unit can be used alone for improving the air quality of the environment. When more than one unit are connected together with the connecting components, the units are teamed up and work together, and an air treatment system is formed. The connecting components further have at least one of the following components, a Wi-Fi module, a Infra-red transmission modules, a Bluetooth Modules.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An air treatment apparatus comprising:
a plurality of air treatment units, at least one of the air treatment units comprising an air inlet, an air outlet, and an air treatment device located between the air inlet and the air outlet; and connecting components, wherein the air treatment device within the air treatment unit comprises at least: a component for air purification and filtering, heating, dehumidifying, humidifying, air-cooling, and/or components of a blow-through fan, a draw through fan, or a pump, wherein the air treatment device in the air treatment units are of different types, wherein the air treatment units are linkable and connectable by the connecting components, the connecting components further comprise a transmitter and a receiver, the connecting components comprising a Wi-Fi module, a Infra-red transmitter, or a Bluetooth connection module, wherein connection of the air treatment units is non-substantially performed, wherein the air treatment units are adapted to operate in a first mode in which the air treatment units operate in coordination with one another together as a built system and a second mode in which the air treatment units operate alone as separate individual units, and wherein the air treatment units are configured to operate in the first mode and the second mode according to at least one level obtained by at least one environmental sensor, the first mode and the second mode providing different air treatment efficiency and performance.

2 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting components are accommodate in a hub and the hub is being support to operate with an individual power supply.

3 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the connecting components are detachable from the air treatment unit when the air treatment unit is working alone individually.

4 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub is linkable to at least one of the air treatment units through the infra-red transmitter with IR Commands.

5 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub is further linkable to the environmental sensor and/o a mobile device(s) through the Bluetooth connection module.

6 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub is further linkable to the ioT server through the Wi-Fi module.

7 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub is further linkable to the mobile device(s) through the Wi-Fi modem and ioT server.

8 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein different the air treatment units can be connected to the hub and teamed up to operate together, with a command given by user through an application program (APP), it can be delivered to the hub by the Bluetooth module (if the user is on-site) or by the remote access to the ioT server and Wi-Fi modem (if the user is off-site).

9 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub will obtain the operation status (the operation status data) of the air treatment unit(s) through the Infra-red transmitter.

10 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub will obtain environmental data from the environmental sensor through eh Bluetooth Module.

11 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub will also send the operation status data and/or the environmental data to the user through the by the Bluetooth module (if the user is on-site) or by the remote access to the ioT server and Wi-Fi modem (if the user is off-site).

12 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub receives the sensor readings from the environmental sensor via Bluetooth connection. Base on a pre-defined algorithm built-in the environmental sensor and the hub, the air treatment unit(s) will be controlled by IR signals generate from the hub.

13 . The air treatment apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the hub will send a power off signal and power on signal to the air treatment unit(s) periodically to turn off and on the air treatment units as a means of reset and re-calibrate the operation status of the air treatment unit(s).
