Abstract
A touch input device includes a cover layer and a display panel disposed under the cover layer. A PCB disposed under the display panel is mounted on a circuit for operation of the display panel, and a pressure sensor is integrally formed at the PCB.

1 . A touch input device comprising:
a cover layer; a display panel disposed under the cover layer; a PCB disposed under the display panel and mounted on a circuit for operation of the display panel; and a pressure sensor integrally formed at the PCB.
2 . The touch input device of claim 1 ,
wherein the PCB includes a base PCB mounted on the circuit for operation of the display panel and an extension PCB extended from the base PCB, and wherein the pressure sensor is integrally formed at the extension PCB.
3 . The touch input device of claim 2 ,
wherein the pressure sensor is a pressure electrode, and wherein the pressures electrode is printed on one of a top surface and a bottom surface of the extension PCB.
4 . The touch input device of claim 1 ,
wherein the display panel has a ground potential, and wherein the touch input device detects a magnitude of a touch pressure input to the cover layer on the basis of electrical characteristics according to a distance between the reference potential and the pressure sensor.
5 . The touch input device of claim 1 , further comprising a substrate disposed under the pressure sensor,
wherein the substrate has a ground potential, and wherein the touch input device detects a magnitude of a touch pressure input to the cover layer on the basis of electrical characteristics according to a distance between the reference potential and the pressure sensor.
6 . The touch input device of claim 1 ,
wherein the pressure sensor includes a first electrode, wherein the touch input device comprises a substrate disposed under the pressure sensor, and a second electrode is disposed on the substrate, and wherein the touch input device detects a magnitude of a touch pressure input to the cover layer on the basis of electrical characteristics according to a distance between the first electrode and the second electrode.
7 . The touch input device of claim 1 ,
wherein the pressures sensor includes a pressure electrode, and wherein a pattern corresponding to the pressure electrode has been printed on the PCB.
8 . The touch input device of claim 7 ,
wherein the pressure electrode includes a first electrode and a second electrode, and wherein a pattern corresponding to the first electrode and the second electrode has been printed on the PCB.
9 . The touch input device of claim 8 , wherein the first electrode and the second electrode is formed on one surface of the PCB.
10 . A touch input device comprising:
a cover layer; a display panel disposed under the cover layer; a touch sensor panel disposed inside or outside the display panel; a PCB disposed under the display panel and mounted on a circuit for operation of the touch sensor panel; and a pressure sensor connected to the PCB.
11 . The touch input device of claim 10 , wherein a touch sensing IC is mounted on the PCB.
12 . The touch input device of claim 10 ,
wherein the display panel has a ground potential, and wherein the touch input device detects a magnitude of a touch pressure input to the cover layer on the basis of electrical characteristics according to a distance between the reference potential and the pressure sensor.
13 . The touch input device of claim 10 , further comprising a substrate disposed under the pressure sensor,
wherein the substrate has a ground potential, and wherein the touch input device detects a magnitude of a touch pressure input to the cover layer on the basis of electrical characteristics according to a distance between the reference potential and the pressure sensor.
14 . The touch input device of claim 10 ,
wherein the pressure sensor includes a first electrode, wherein the touch input device comprises a substrate disposed under the pressure sensor, and a second electrode is disposed on the substrate, and wherein the touch input device detects a magnitude of a touch pressure input to the cover layer on the basis of electrical characteristics according to a distance between the first electrode and the second electrode.
15 . The touch input device of claim 10 ,
wherein the pressures sensor includes a pressure electrode, and wherein a pattern corresponding to the pressure electrode has been printed on the PCB.
16 . The touch input device of claim 15 ,
wherein the pressure electrode includes a first electrode and a second electrode, and wherein a pattern corresponding to the first electrode and the second electrode has been printed on the PCB.
