Abstract
System and method can support photography. A controller can configure a carrier to move an imaging device along a moving path. Furthermore, the controller can apply a time-dependent configuration on the imaging device, and use the imaging device for capturing a set of image frames along the moving path based on the one or more time-dependent parameters.

40 . The method of claim 39 , wherein:
displaying the image view comprises displaying the real-time images at a frame rate slower than a frame rate of capture by the imaging device.
41 . The method of claim 39 , wherein:
displaying the image view comprises displaying the real-time images at a frame rate faster than a frame rate of capture by the imaging device.
42 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising:
directing the carrier to rotate about at least one of a yaw axis and a pitch axis to move the imaging device, at the at least one corresponding speed, along the moving path.
43 . The method of claim 31 , wherein:
the one or more time-dependent configuration parameters includes at least one of a total shooting time, a frame rate of image capture by the imaging device, or one or more time intervals for image capture by the imaging device.
44 . The method of claim 31 , wherein:
the one or more time-dependent configuration parameters includes selection of one or more preconfigured rotating modes.
45 . The method of claim 31 , wherein:
the one or more time-dependent configuration parameters includes one or more waypoints defining the moving path.

capture one or more images using the imaging device along the moving path based on shooting positions defined by at least one of the one or more time-dependent configuration parameters.
48 . The system of claim 46 , wherein:
the one or more time-dependent configuration parameters are received from an application executed by the controller, wherein the application provides a user interface via a display on a terminal.
49 . The system of claim 46 , wherein:
the carrier couples the imaging device to a portable device.
50 . The system of claim 49 , wherein:
the portable device includes one or more mechanisms for moving a gimbal along the moving path at the at least one corresponding speed.
51 . The system of claim 46 , wherein:
