Device for releasably mounting a silencer and silencer arrangement
Abstract
The present invention relates to a device for releasably mounting a silencer on a firearm, particularly a firearm tube or a firearm tube extension, such as a muzzle brake, comprising a coupling body with a firearm-sided fastening mechanism and a silencer-sided fastening mechanism, wherein at least one of the fastening mechanisms comprises a clamping and releasing slide movably mounted on the coupling body the clamping and releasing slide being movable between a clamping position, in which the clamping and releasing slide is in a form-locking, silencer-sided or firearm-sided clamping engagement, and a releasing position, in which the clamping and releasing slide releases the silencer-sided or firearm-sided clamping engagement for separation from the coupling body.

3 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the clamping and releasing slide is spring-loaded and/or the at least one fastening mechanism comprises at least one spring, particularly a spring pair, wherein particularly the spring preload and/or the at least one spring is configured such that the clamping and releasing slide in particular in the inactive state is forced into the clamping position.
4 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the coupling body ( 11 ) is a muffle particularly with a preferably circular or rotationally symmetric sleeve shape, in which a plain bearing for receiving the clamping and releasing slide extending radially through the muffle wall whose axial plain bearing width is particularly slightly bigger than the corresponding axial width of the clamping and releasing slide, wherein particularly in case of a symmetric plain bearing introduction and a shape of the clamping and releasing slide adapted thereto a protrusion-recess-arrangement on the coupling body and the clamping and releasing slide is provided such that only one inserting mounting position of the clamping and releasing slide into the plain bearing is allowed.
5 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the coupling body comprises a cylindric passage for axially inserting the firearm tube or the firearm tube extension and the clamping and releasing slide comprises an axial aperture, which defines an aperture minimum cross section such that in the releasing position no radial overlapping by the clamping and releasing slide is provided with regard to a passage minimum cross section of an axial passage in order to unhinderedly feed the firearm tube or firearm tube extension through the axial passage, and such that in the clamping position a radial overlapping is provided with regard to the passage minimum cross section, which is particularly formed by a clamping section of the clamping and releasing slide, which preferably is arranged diametrically opposite to an actuation section of the clamping and releasing slide with regard to its moving direction and/or engages a clamping counter section particularly being complementary in shape with regard to the clamping section and the firearm tube or the firearm tube extension.
6 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one fastening mechanism provides a radial clamping force, in particular by means of preload, in a radial direction at the clamping and releasing slide, which is particularly configured such that in the clamping position part of the radial clamping force for axially tensioning the clamping and releasing slide is deflected, wherein particularly the clamping and releasing slide defines a clamping section, which particularly is arranged diametrically opposite with regard to an actuation section of the clamping and releasing slide with regard to its moving direction, and/or a clamping surface, which is inclined with regard to an axial direction, wherein particularly the clamping surface is curved in a circumferential direction, particularly is configured partly cylindrical, wherein a clamping counter surface at the firearm tube or firearm tube extension is configured complimentary in shape for a clamping engagement.
7 . The device according to claim 6 , wherein the form-locking clamping engagement between the clamping and releasing slide and the silencer or the firearm is formed by ring section surfaces being inclined with regard to the axial direction, wherein particularly due to a radial spring preload and the radial guidance of the clamping and releasing slide in its clamping position an axial clamping of the coupling body with regard to the silencer or the firearm is realized.
8 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the other of the at least one further firearm-sided or silencer-sided fastening mechanism is realized by means of screwing, a bayonet lock or is formed by one piece.
9 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein the clamping and releasing slide comprises a ring shape, where a clamping section, which particularly is arranged diametrically with regard to an actuation section with regard to the moving direction of the clamping and releasing slide, and two outer notches for receiving two springs, introduced into the ring outer side, are provided, the two springs being supported preferably at one end at a face side of the outer notches and at an other end at a plain bearing wall of the coupling body in order to linearly bias the clamping and releasing slide in the moving direction such that the actuation section is pushed radially outwards, wherein particularly in the clamping position the actuation section of the clamping and releasing slide slightly protrudes, preferably between 0.5 millimeters (mm) and 2 mm, with regard to an outer surface of the coupling body such that when manually impressing the clamping and releasing slide is translationally movable against the spring pressure, wherein a clamping engagement between the clamping section of the clamping and releasing slide and a clamping counter section of the silencer or the firearm is released.
10 . A silencer arrangement with a silencer and the device configured according to claim 1 for releasably mounting the silencer on a firearm, in particular a firearm tube or firearm tube extension, such as a muzzle brake.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
