Abstract

An energy storage apparatus includes a coupling component that longitudinally extends in a first direction, one or more energy storage devices disposed on the coupling component, each energy storage device including a positive terminal and a negative terminal projecting in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, an external positive terminal and an external negative terminal for charging and discharging electricity to and from the one or more energy storage devices, the external positive terminal and the external negative terminal being disposed on a short side of the energy storage apparatus, the short side of the energy storage apparatus extending in a third direction, which is perpendicular to the first and second directions, at an end of the energy storage apparatus in the first direction, and an external wiring connection component disposed on the short side of the energy storage apparatus.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An energy storage apparatus, comprising:
a coupling component that longitudinally extends in a first direction; one or more energy storage devices disposed on the coupling component, each energy storage device including a positive terminal and a negative terminal projecting in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; an external positive terminal and an external negative terminal for charging and discharging electricity to and from the one or more energy storage devices, the external positive terminal and the external negative terminal being disposed on a short side of the energy storage apparatus, the short side of the energy storage apparatus extending in a third direction, which is perpendicular to the first and second directions, at an end of the energy storage apparatus in the first direction; an external wiring connection component disposed on the short side of the energy storage apparatus; and a control substrate for monitoring a state of the one or more energy storage devices, the control substrate being connected to the external wiring connection component via a first wiring.

2 . The energy storage apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein one end of a second wiring is connected to the external wiring connection component on the short side of the energy storage apparatus.

3 . The energy storage apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the second wiring includes an external wiring, and another end of the second wiring is connected to another energy storage apparatus.
