Abstract
A data structure is dynamically displayed within a graphical user interface with an initial setting information. User input that provides instructions to adjust the setting information is received. The received user input is parsed to identify a position portion, a motion portion, and a magnitude portion. The setting information is adjusted based on the received user input. The data structure is dynamically displayed according to the adjusted setting information.

8 . A computer system for dynamically displaying a data structure within a graphical user interface, the method comprising:
one or more processors, one or more computer-readable memories, one or more computer-readable tangible storage medium, and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more tangible storage medium for execution by at least one of the one or more processors via at least one of the one or more memories, wherein the computer system is capable of performing a method comprising: displaying a data structure with an initial setting information; receiving user input that provides instructions to adjust the setting information; parsing the received user input to identify a position portion, a motion portion, and a magnitude portion; adjusting the setting information based on the parsed position portion, a motion portion, and a magnitude portion; and dynamically displaying the data structure according to the adjusted setting information.
9 . The computer system of claim 8 , the method further comprising:
determining a value for the position, the motion, and the magnitude in response to parsing the received user input, wherein the position is the position of a touch screen where a user contacts, the motion is a direction of rotational and translational movement of the user contacting the screen, and the magnitude is a distance traversing the touch screen per unit time; and adding the determined values for the position, the motion, and the magnitude to an setting information table to be saved for future use.
10 . The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the received user input is to expand a first portion of the data structure while minimizing a second portion of the data structure.

The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the received user input is to rotate the data structure about an axis of the data structure, wherein the rotation displays a first portion of the data structure in a foreground of the graphical user interface while a second portion of the data structure is displayed in a background of the graphical user interface, wherein the first portion is expanded and the second portion of the of the data structure is minimized.
12 . The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the data structure is displayed as a radial map with multiple levels, wherein each of the multiple levels except the bottom level include one or more nodes that link to one or more nodes of a lower level.
13 . The computer system of claim 8 , wherein the data structure is displayed in the form of a radial map, the method further comprising:
dynamically displaying node information that is included within a level of the radial map in response to the user hovering over the node; receiving a second user input to adjust a shape that the node information is displayed within; and adjusting the shape based on the received second user input, wherein adjusting the shape includes expanding or contracting the shape.
14 . The computer system of claim 13 , wherein the setting information includes text color options and data structure shape options.
15 . A computer program product for dynamically displaying a data structure within a graphical user interface, the computer program product comprising:
one or more computer-readable storage medium and program instructions stored on at least one of the one or more tangible storage medium, the program instructions executable by a processor, the program instructions comprising: program instructions to display a data structure with an initial setting information; program instructions to receive user input that provides instructions to adjust the setting information; program instructions to parse the received user input to identify a position portion, a motion portion, and a magnitude portion; program instructions to adjust the setting information based on the parsed position portion, a motion portion, and a magnitude portion; and program instructions to dynamically display the data structure according to the adjusted setting information.
16 . The computer program product of claim 15 , the computer program product further comprising:
program instructions to determine a value for the position, the motion, and the magnitude in response to parsing the received user input, wherein the position is the position of a touch screen where a user contacts, the motion is a direction of rotational and translational movement of the user contacting the screen, and the magnitude is a distance traversing the touch screen per unit time; and program instructions to add the determined values for the position, the motion, and the magnitude to an setting information table to be saved for future use.
17 . The computer program product of claim 15 , wherein the received user input is to expand a first portion of the data structure while minimizing a second portion of the data structure.

The computer program product of claim 15 , wherein the received user input is to rotate the data structure about an axis of the data structure, wherein the rotation displays a first portion of the data structure in a foreground of the graphical user interface while a second portion of the data structure is displayed in a background of the graphical user interface, wherein the first portion is expanded and the second portion of the of the data structure is minimized.

The method of claim 15 , wherein the data structure is displayed as a radial map with multiple levels, wherein each of the multiple levels except the bottom level include one or more nodes that link to one or more nodes of a lower level, wherein the setting information includes text color options and data structure shape options.
20 . The computer program product of claim 15 , wherein the data structure is displayed in the form of a radial map, the computer program product further comprising:
