Automatic air vent
Abstract
The present invention provides an automatic air vent for heating a cooling systems that can be remotely controlled. The automatic air vent comprises a cover having vent louvres installed thereon and an integral motor attached to the louvres via a piston arm. The piston arm is configured to adjust the vent louvres toward an open or closed position and is controlled either through a remote controller or a manual switch. In one embodiment, there are temperature and motion sensors disposed on the cover that are in communication with the motor, configured to automatically adjust the louvres based on air flow and ambient temperature. The vent louvres are designed to create an airtight seal to prevent air leakage. The automatic air vent can also have an air filter installed thereon.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for automatic air vents with a multi-mode device that allow vents to open and close when hot or cold air are blowing, tightly seal vent louvres when it close, and easily access to clean vent and filter.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the automatic air vent comprises a cover installed at an opening of a ventilation system. The cover having vent louvres installed thereon configured to block or allow either warm or cool airflow through.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein an integral motor is operably connected to the louvres via a piston arm. The piston arm adjusts the louvres toward an open or closed position. And the motor can be controlled either via a manual switch or a remote control, allowing a user to adjust the vent louvres close by or at a distance
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the louvres are configured to close with an airtight seal, preventing air leakage.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein one embodiment of the automatic air vents, there are cables secured at one end to the cover and another end to a ventilation duct that are configured to easily release and lower the cover and vent via a manual lever or a remote control to allow for convenient cleaning of the louvres.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein another embodiment of the automatic air vents, the cover is configured with slots to have a removable filter installed therein to collect dust and airborne particles from the airflow within the ventilation system.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein one embodiment of the automatic air vents, there are motion and temperature sensors disposed on an interior surface of the cover and in communication with the motor. The motion and temperature sensors can be configured to automatically adjust the position of the louvres based on airflow and ambient temperature.
8 . An apparatus for automatic air vents device with a multi-mode that allows vent to open and close when hot or cold air are blowing, tightly seal louvres device when it close, and easily access vents device to clean vent and filter.
9 . The apparatus of claim 7 , wherein the automatic air vent comprises a cover installed at an opening of a ventilation system. The cover having vent louvres installed thereon configured to block or allow either warm or cool airflow through.
10 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein an integral motor is operably connected to the louvres via a piston arm. The piston arm adjusts the louvres toward an open or closed position. And the motor can be controlled either via a manual switch or a remote control, allowing a user to adjust the vent louvres close by or at a distance.
11 . The apparatus of claim 9 , wherein the louvres are configured to close with an airtight seal, preventing air leakage.
12 . The apparatus of claim 10 , wherein one embodiment of the automatic air vents, there are cables secured at one end to the cover and another end to a ventilation duct that are configured to easily release and lower the cover and vent via a manual lever or a remote control to allow for convenient cleaning of the louvres.
13 . The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein another embodiment of the automatic air vents, the cover is configured with slots to have a removable filter installed therein to collect dust and airborne particles from the airflow within the ventilation system.
14 . The apparatus of claim 12 , wherein one embodiment of the automatic air vents, there are motion and temperature sensors disposed on an interior surface of the cover and in communication with the motor. The motion and temperature sensors can be configured to automatically adjust the position of the louvres based on airflow and ambient temperature.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
