Abstract
A diving snorkel and an upper exhaust head thereof are provided. The upper exhaust head includes a main body and a float. The main body has a recess and an air passage. An upper end of the recess is provided with an air hole communicating with the air passage. A periphery of the air hole is provided with a sealing ring. The recess is provided with a pivot seat thereon. The float is rotatably disposed on the recess. The float has a pivot portion. The pivot portion is pivotally connected to the pivot seat.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An upper exhaust head of a diving snorkel, comprising a main body and a float; the main body having a recess and an air passage, an upper end of the recess being provided with an air hole communicating with the air passage, a periphery of the air hole being provided with a sealing ring, the recess being provided with a pivot seat thereon; the float being rotatably disposed on the recess, the float having a pivot portion, the pivot portion being pivotally connected to the pivot seat; wherein when the float is under water, the float is turned upwards to cover the air hole by buoyancy, the float is partially fitted into the air hole, the sealing ring leans against an outer surface of the float to form a sealing structure; when the float is exposed to a water surface, the float is turned downwards by gravity to open the air hole.
2 . The upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the periphery of the air hole radially extends to form an engaging ring, the sealing ring has an engaging groove, and the engaging ring is engaged in the engaging groove.
3 . The upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the float extends outward to form the pivot portion, two sides of the pivot portion extend outward to form pivot shafts respectively, the pivot seat is provided with two pivot holes corresponding to the pivot shafts, and the pivot shafts are pivoted to the corresponding pivot holes, respectively.
4 . The upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel as claimed in claim 1 , further including a protective side cover disposed on the main body, the side cover being configured to cover the float and the air hole.
5 . The upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the side cover is provided with a plurality of engaging holes, the main body is provided with a plurality of engaging posts corresponding to the engaging holes, and the engaging posts are engaged with the corresponding engaging holes, respectively.
6 . The upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the side cover is formed with a plurality of through holes for ventilation.
7 . The upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the float is a hollow sphere.
8 . The upper exhaust head of the diving snorkel as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the float is composed of two hemispheres.
9 . A diving snorkel, comprising an air tube, a mouthpiece and the upper exhaust head as claimed in any one of claims 1 - 8 , the mouthpiece being connected to a lower end of the air tube, the upper exhaust head being connected to an upper end of the air tube, the air tube, the mouthpiece and the upper exhaust head having a passageway therein to communicate with each other.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
