Method and terminal for implementing communication

Abstract

Provided is a method performed by a terminal of performing communication, the method including sending, by a terminal to which a floor is granted, media to at least one other terminal, when a predetermined event occurs in the terminal, monitoring a signal received by the terminal to grant the floor of the terminal, and when the media is received from another terminal within a predetermined time as a result of the monitoring, granting the floor to the other terminal.

1 . A method, performed by a terminal, of performing communication, the method comprising:
 sending, by a terminal, to which a floor is granted, media to at least one other terminal;   when a predetermined event occurs in the terminal, monitoring a signal received by the terminal to grant the floor of the terminal; and   when the media is received from another terminal within a predetermined time as a result of the monitoring, granting the floor to the other terminal.   
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the predetermined event comprises an event of a floor request being received from the other terminal. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 ,
 wherein the terminal comprises a queuing list capable of storing identification information of another terminal requesting the floor, and   wherein the predetermined event comprises an event of ending media transmission of the terminal in a state where a floor request stored in the queuing list exists.   
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising: when the media is not received before expiration of a first timer indicating a predetermined pending-user action period as a result of the monitoring, sending a floor release message to the at least one other terminal. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 4 , further comprising: in a state where a floor request is pending in the queuing list previously stored in the terminal, when the media is not received before a second timer indicating a granted re-send period expires a predetermined number of times, starting the first timer. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising: when corresponding identification information exists among identification information included in the floor release message received in the terminal and identification information of the terminal stored in the queuing list of the terminal, removing the corresponding identification information. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising: when a floor request message is received from any one of the at least one terminal during the monitoring, sending a floor deny message to the at least one terminal. 
     
     
         8 . A terminal for performing communication, the terminal comprising:
 a communicator configured to send media to at least one other terminal when a floor is granted to the terminal; and   a processor configured to, when a predetermined event occurs in the terminal, monitor a signal received by the terminal to grant the floor of the terminal and when the media is received from another terminal within a predetermined time as a result of the monitoring, grant the floor to the other terminal.   
     
     
         9 . The terminal of  claim 8 , wherein the predetermined event comprises an event of a floor request being received from the other terminal. 
     
     
         10 . The terminal of  claim 8 ,
 wherein the terminal comprises a queuing list capable of storing identification information of another terminal requesting the floor, and   wherein the predetermined event comprises an event of ending media transmission of the terminal in a state where a floor request stored in the queuing list exists.

The terminal of  claim 8 , wherein, when the media is not received before expiration of a first timer indicating a predetermined pending-user action period as a result of the monitoring, the communicator is further configured to send a floor release message to the at least one other terminal. 
     
     
         12 . The terminal of  claim 8 , wherein in a state where a floor request is pending in the queuing list previously stored in the terminal, when the media is not received before a second timer indicating a granted re-send period expires a predetermined number of times), the processor is further configured to start the first timer. 
     
     
         13 . The terminal of  claim 8 , wherein, when corresponding identification information exists among identification information included in the floor release message received in the terminal and identification information of the terminal stored in the queuing list of the terminal, the processor is further configured to remove the corresponding identification information. 
     
     
         14 . The terminal of  claim 8 , wherein, when a floor request message is received from any one of the at least one terminal during the monitoring, the communicator is further configured to send a floor deny message to the at least one terminal. 
     
     
         15 . A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for executing the method of  claim 1  in a computer.
