Abstract

Provided are a video display device and a method of controlling the same. The method includes obtaining an uncompressed audio-visual (AV) content; playing the uncompressed AV content through the display unit; obtaining content information of the uncompressed AV content on the basis of a content section of the uncompressed AV content; obtaining content change time information and enhanced service information on the basis of the content information; and determining a delay time for obtaining the next content information on the basis of the content change time information.

         9 . A video display device comprising:
 a display unit;   a control unit to display an automatic recognition(ACR) function setting window for ACR function setting user interface(UI) on the display unit and to receive ACR function setting information from a UI manager;   a storage unit to store the ACR function setting information; and   an receiving unit to obtain content,   wherein the control unit extracts one or more video frames from the content, and transmits a first query including the one or more video frames to a first server, and obtains an address of a second server based on the first query, and transmits a second query to the second server, and obtains at least one of an identifier of an enhanced service or an address of the enhanced service,   wherein the display unit displays the content and the enhanced service based on the at least one of the identifier of the enhanced service or the address of the enhanced service.   
     
     
         10 . The video display device according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a menu for activating or deactivating ACR function.   
     
     
         11 . The video display device according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein the menu includes a first menu for activating the ACR function, and a second menu for deactivating the ACR function.   
     
     
         12 . The video display device according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a ACR mode selecting menu.

 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a ACR mode selecting menu,   wherein the ACR mode selecting menu is activated, when the first menu is selected.

 wherein the ACR mode includes a mode which executes the enhanced service without user's confirmation for using the enhanced service before executing.

 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a ACR function setting window closing menu, and   the storage unit stores inputted ACR function setting information, when the ACR function setting window closing menu is selected.

 wherein the ACR function setting information from the UI manager is set by user input.

 wherein the control unit checks whether the ACR function setting information is set to activate the ACR function before extracting one or more frames from the content.

 wherein the content is uncompressed video content.

 a tuner to receive broadcast signal.   
     
     
         22 . An operating method of a video display device comprising:
 displaying an automatic recognition(ACR) function setting window for ACR function setting user interface(UI) receiving ACR function setting information from a UI manager;   storing the ACR function setting information;   obtaining content;   extracting one or more video frames from the content;   transmitting a first query including the one or more video frames to a first server;   obtaining an address of a second server based on the first query;   transmitting a second query to the second server;   obtaining at least one of an identifier of an enhanced service or an address of the enhanced service;   displaying the content and the enhanced service based on the at least one of the identifier of the enhanced service or the address of the enhanced service.   
     
     
         23 . An operating method of the video display device according to  claim 22 ,
 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a menu for activating or deactivating ACR function.   
     
     
         24 . An operating method of the video display device according to  claim 23 ,
 wherein the menu includes a first menu for activating the ACR function, and a second menu for deactivating the ACR function.   
     
     
         25 . An operating method of the video display device according to  claim 22 ,
 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a ACR mode selecting menu.   
     
     
         26 . An operating method of the video display device according to  claim 24 ,
 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a ACR mode selecting menu,   wherein the ACR mode selecting menu is activated, when the first menu is selected.

 wherein the ACR mode includes a mode which executes the enhanced service without user's confirmation for using the enhanced service before executing.

 wherein the ACR function setting UI includes a ACR function setting window closing menu, and   the storage unit stores inputted ACR function setting information, when the ACR function setting window closing menu is selected.
