Abstract

A water treatment system comprising a housing adapted to receive a flow of water. An electrolytic treatment system disposed within the housing, for producing one or more product substances to treat the water. A hydro generation system disposed within the housing, for generating power from the flow of water. An electronic control system disposed within the housing, for receiving and managing the electrical power produced by the hydro generation system, and for controlling the transfer of electrical power to the electrolytic treatment system to control the production of the one or more product substances.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 27 . (canceled)

28 . An inlet end cap of a water treatment system, said inlet end cap defining an inlet portion of a water flow path and comprising a cavity for insertion of an electronic control system.

29 . An inlet end cap assembly of a water treatment system comprising the inlet end cap of claim 28 and further comprising said electronic control system.

30 . The inlet end cap assembly of claim 29 , wherein said electronic control system is enclosed in a potting substance filling said cavity.

31 . The inlet end cap assembly of claim 30 , further comprising an enclosure cap covering the cavity.

32 . The inlet end cap assembly of claim 31 , wherein the enclosure cap comprises an electrical connector which enables waterproof electrical connections to be made between the electronic control system and the rest of the water treatment system.

33 . The inlet end cap assembly of claim 31 , wherein the enclosure cap houses sensor heads, wherein the enclosure cap allows for the sensor heads to be in fluid communication with fluid within the water treatment system.

34 . The inlet end cap assembly of claim 31 , wherein the assembly provides a means to remove excess heat from the electronic control system by fluid flow of water in the water treatment system.

35 . The inlet end cap assembly of claim 34 , wherein said means to remove excess heat is an enclosure wall.

36 . The inlet end cap assembly of claim 31 , wherein the enclosure cap comprises a female connector which houses one or more conductive contacts and a compressive O-ring or gasket groove.

37 . An inlet end cap assembly of a water treatment system comprising:
an inlet end cap defining an inlet portion of a water flow path and comprising a cavity for insertion of an electronic control system; an electronic control system in said cavity; an enclosure cap covering the cavity, wherein the enclosure cap comprises:
an electrical connector which enables waterproof electrical connections to be made between the electronic control system and the rest of the water treatment system; and
a sensor, wherein the enclosure cap allows for the sensor to be in fluid communication with fluid within the water treatment system; and
a means to remove excess heat from the electronic control system by fluid flow of water in the water treatment system.
