Abstract

The reversible detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear for a baseball cap has a semi-rigid outward extending C shaped sun shield and an adjustable balanced three point securing system. The semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield extends from the back of the baseball hat and the first and second connections are at proximate temples of a wearer, limiting axial movement of said semi-rigid extending C shape sun shield while simultaneously securing the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield to the baseball cap. The reversible detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear provides protection for the ears and neck of the wearer and viewable safety area simultaneously while wearing the baseball hat.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear for a baseball cap without ear or neck protection having, a cap portion and a bill, the reversible detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear comprising:
 a. a semi-rigid outward extending C shaped sun shield comprising:
 i. a top side;
 ii. a bottom side, and
 iii. a safety region on the top side,
 the semi-rigid outward extending C shaped sun shield configured to surround the cap portion of the baseball cap from a first edge of the bill to a second edge of the bill without covering the bill;

   b. an adjustable balanced three point securing system to push the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield against the cap portion while simultaneously preventing vertical movement of the semi-rigid outward extending C shaped sun shield up the cap portion and off the head of a wearer comprising:
 i. a first connection to a first edge of the bill;
 ii. a second connection to a second edge of the bill simultaneously with the first connection; and
 iii. a third connection from a midpoint of the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shaped sun shield to a cap midpoint of the cap portion opposite the bill while the first and second connections engage opposite sides of the bill; and
 wherein the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield extends from the back of the baseball hat and the first and second connections are proximate temples of a wearer, limiting axial movement of said semi-rigid extending C shape sun shield while simultaneously securing the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield to the baseball cap providing protection for the ears and neck of the user and viewable safety area simultaneously while wearing the baseball hat.

         2 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , wherein the safely region is customized.

         3 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , wherein the safety region comprises at least one reflective sticker.

         4 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , wherein the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield has a light portion with a power supply mountable to the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield and wherein the light portion is mounted on the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield.

         5 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , wherein the first and second connections are selected from the group consisting of snaps, a spring loaded plastic clips, buttons, or slip clips.

         6 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 5 , wherein the slip clips pivot.

         7 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , wherein the third connection is a movement-limiting flexible retention element selected from the group consisting of: a hook and loop fastener, snaps, a spring loaded plastic clip, a button, or a slip clip.

         8 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , further comprising a closeable storage element for credit cards on the bottom side.

         9 . The detachable and re,-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , further comprising a closeable storage element for keys removably secured to the bottom side.

         10 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , further comprising a closeable storage element for money removably secured to the bottom side.

         11 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , wherein the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield is fabricated from the group consisting of a closed cell foam, a semi rigid felt, and a paper product.

         12 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , for a hard hat comprising an inverted upside down semi-rigid-outwardly extending C shape sun shield wherein the first and second connections engage opposite sides of a hard hat brim and the semi-rigid outwardly extending C shape sun shield extends from under the back of the hard hat.

         13 . The detachable and re-adjustable cancer reducing safety headwear of claim 1 , comprising a removable fastener secured to a midpoint of the cap portion opposite the bill of the cap, the removable fastener engaging the third connection.
