What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for attaching artificial eyelashes on a strip, comprising:
 an elongated strip having an edge that runs along a length of the elongated strip;   a plurality of artificial eyelash bundles attached along the length of the elongated strip, each of the artificial eyelash bundles having two or more individual lashes connected with one another such that they flare away from one another and such that there is no adhesive directly connecting the individual lashes together.
