         21 . An attachment device, comprising:
 a housing comprising:
 a radio frequency interface;
 a secure element configured to:
 store a payment token; and
 generate transaction data

 an input circuit; and
 an output circuit;
   a connector in communication with the input circuit and output circuit; and
       wherein the attachment device is configured to wirelessly transmit the token and the transaction data via the radio frequency interface during a mobile transaction.

         22 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein the payment token is a surrogate value for a primary account number associated with the mobile transaction.

         23 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein the connector forms an extension comprising a pass-through connection.

         24 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein the input circuit comprises an audio encoder that encodes data to be wirelessly transmitted to a proximity coupling device.

         25 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein the transaction data generated by the secure element comprises a cryptogram that is unique to the mobile transaction.

         26 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein the transaction data comprises payment information.

         27 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein housing further comprises a near-field communication antenna, and wherein the radio frequency interface is coupled to the near-field communication antenna.

         28 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein the input circuit is configured to receive an account provisioning signal that includes the payment token.

         29 . The attachment device of claim 20 , wherein the token is generated based on a device identifier of a mobile device in communication with the attachment device.

         30 . The attachment deice of claim 20 , wherein the radio frequency interface establishes a communication link between the attachment device and a proximity coupling device to wirelessly transmit the token and the transaction data via the radio frequency interface during the mobile transaction.

         31 . An attachment device, comprising:
 a housing comprising:
 a radio frequency interface comprising an input circuit; and
 an output circuit;
   a-plug-in communication with the output circuit; and
       wherein the attachment device is configured to wirelessly receive transaction data via the radio frequency interface during a mobile transaction.

         32 . The attachment device of claim 31 , wherein the mobile transaction is associated with a primary account number.

         33 . The attachment device of claim 31 , further comprising a-jack, wherein the combined plug, housing, and jack form a headphone cord extension comprising a pass-through connection.

         34 . The attachment device of claim 31 , wherein the output circuit comprises a decoder that decodes the received transaction data for input to a connector of a mobile device.

         35 . The attachment device of claim 31 , wherein the received transaction data is unique to the mobile transaction.

         36 . The attachment device of claim 31 , wherein the transaction data comprises one or more of payment receipt information and payment confirmation.

         37 . The attachment device of claim 31 , wherein the housing further comprises a near-field communication antenna, and wherein the radio frequency interface is coupled to the near-field communication antenna.

         38 . The attachment deice of claim 31 , wherein the radio frequency interface establishes a communication link between the attachment device and a proximity coupling device to wirelessly receive transaction data via the radio frequency interface during the mobile transaction.

         39 . A method of providing a contactless payment transaction, comprising:
 receiving, at a computer processor of a mobile device, a payment initiation instruction; transmitting an encrypted and encoded payment execution instruction from the mobile device to an attachment device that includes:
 a housing comprising:
 a radio frequency interface comprising a near-field communication antenna;
 a secure element configured to:
 store a payment token; and
 generate transaction data

 an input circuit; and
 an output circuit;

   a connector in communication with the input circuit and output circuit; and wherein the attachment device is configured to wirelessly transmit the payment token and the transaction data via the radio frequency interface during a mobile transaction; and transmitting payment information, the payment token, and the transaction data to a point of sale device via the near-field communication antenna.

         40 . The method of claim 39 , further comprising receiving, at the mobile device, data related to the payment; and providing the data related to the payment to a display on the mobile device.
